[00:00:00] Speaker A: We did get that. Right. So those are two announcements we got. Right. I think there's a few more we'll talk about here in a bit. But we got. [00:00:06] Speaker B: We got a few more. [00:00:06] Speaker C: Now prepare for the onslaught of wrong. Sit there and be wrong in your wrongness. [00:00:11] Speaker A: Hey, we all love dreaming. We all love dreaming. [00:00:13] Speaker B: Listen, these weren't necessarily wrong. It was like, what this? That was our wish list. Right. [00:00:32] Speaker C: Welcome back, everybody, to a special live episode of the DCL duo podcast, brought to you by my path, unwinding travel. And I want to say powered by tinfoil mouse ears. [00:00:45] Speaker B: If people are listening to this after, they're not going to know what we're talking about. But I'm going to tell them, go head over to YouTube and check out this video, because it is hilarious and ridiculous that all three of us are wearing tinfoil mouse ears tonight. [00:00:59] Speaker A: No, I appreciate it. [00:01:01] Speaker C: It's because we got CT with us. [00:01:02] Speaker B: I know. [00:01:03] Speaker C: So. Yes. [00:01:05] Speaker A: Well, also, Brian didn't want to get dropped from the stream again. [00:01:09] Speaker B: That's right. [00:01:12] Speaker C: Well, we're going to use our tinfoil mouse here, so tune into the Disney vibes tonight and then do a little prognostication. Check in on what they released today. Check back in. CT is going to keep us honest over what we said the last time we were on the list. [00:01:26] Speaker B: Right. What we got right. What we got wrong. [00:01:28] Speaker A: Yeah, there was a lot wrong. There was a lot. [00:01:31] Speaker B: So Linda's saying we need tinfoil mouse ears, magnets, and I actually love that idea. [00:01:37] Speaker A: I've been looking. I've been looking. [00:01:40] Speaker B: I love it. [00:01:42] Speaker C: Well, we're gonna. We're gonna get. We're gonna get into it tonight and, yeah, let's get some magnets out there for the cruising community. But I'll tell you again, this is the second night in a row, third time ever guest has prepared the PowerPoint. And I will tell you, CT brought the A game to this PowerPoint presentation. It is the new gold standard here on the duo. So if you're looking to be a guest, I need creds around PowerPoint presentation because. Wow. [00:02:09] Speaker B: Let's be clear, this is only for live shows. And it started with. It started with Ashley. Ashley was the queen of the PowerPoint presentation, and now CT is the king of PowerPoint presentation. [00:02:21] Speaker C: But this one has transitions, reflections. I love everything about this powerful, co branded. [00:02:27] Speaker B: Look at that. [00:02:28] Speaker C: We can't wait. We can't wait. All right, let's dive in. I just want to start. What a weird day. It felt like just a little bit because I think we're so used to Disney's going to reveal a ship and we all wake up and we all watch a video of probably about 30 minutes to 60 minutes and we can walk through the whole thing. And we learned so much. And maybe a few venues are held back, but we know just a ton about the ship. And it was like a press release today for us. Uh, some posts on the Parks blog, a few photos. We had access to a few more photos in the background on the brand folder. [00:03:04] Speaker B: Don't forget the two minute video. Right, which I will say the comic book video was cool. I like the one that they did previously. Also. I think they did a good job with those. But I'm with you, Brian. We, we didn't get like any kind of video presentation and we only got like two articles on the Disney Parks blog, one specific to, like, concierge staterooms and one specific to some stuff we'll talk about on this show. [00:03:29] Speaker A: Yeah, just weird. On that note, I just want to highlight, we have to understand, too that the cruise line and we have all changed as these reveals have happened. So. Right. The wish had someone walking around a rendering of the Disney wish. But we have to also remember that is what Disney was putting out during COVID when they were trying to get people excited. And that's where they were investing all their advertising at the time because advertising book a cruise now didn't work. So it was all about talking about their future. So I think we just a little bit of understanding that just the dynamic is different now. Right? [00:04:04] Speaker B: That's a really, that's a really good point, CT, because they needed a way to hype up people and right now they really don't. I mean, they're booking cruises left and right for all the other ships. So while this is big, of course, biggest news, a new ship, they already know they're going to be able to book the cruises. [00:04:22] Speaker C: Go ahead. Go ahead, CC. [00:04:24] Speaker A: And let's admit it, right? We're all going to go on this ship because we're completionist and we've got to check every block. But we've seen this ship already. [00:04:31] Speaker B: We have seen this ship already, haven't we? [00:04:33] Speaker C: Have seen the layout of the ship. I was just going to say this to me. What's interesting is if you look at a company like Apple and how they've evolved, how they present their new products over time, it's gone from an onstage production to a very highly produced video. But this, to me, felt like we've got a new iPhone, we're going to tell you that it's got a button here. Stay tuned for more details. Right? Like, yeah, we all get iPhones. [00:04:56] Speaker B: We're probably, they took away the button, remember? See, there's no button on my iPhone. [00:05:01] Speaker C: Fair enough. But, but, but my point is they've given you kind of a part of the product and we'll get some more over the next couple of days. I'm just curious to see how far they go because I guarantee on Thursday, I guess it's a prediction, but I'm, I'm willing to bethe everything I have against everything you all have that. On Thursday, we're getting itineraries and pricing and booking is going to start. And it's a little hard to say you would buy the iPhone just based on like a feature here and there, right? [00:05:27] Speaker B: I need to know. I need to know what the track wheel looks like. Yeah. [00:05:31] Speaker A: Well, and let's admit it. [00:05:32] Speaker C: Right, track wheel, you got a problem. [00:05:34] Speaker A: But yeah, we've already seen what the rest of the itineraries look like over the release of the ship. And this exists for the adventure. We've seen where the rest of the ships are going to be when the, when these two boats start sailing. So they're almost behind the curve. They have to, I agree with you. They have to get it out Thursday because the booking window for this one's going to be shorter than, than what we've seen out of other ships over that same time. [00:05:57] Speaker C: I just hope they give, I hope they give people enough reason to book it. That's all I'm asking for. Disney is like, give us enough reason to book it. So let's look that, let's dive into what they actually announced today. [00:06:08] Speaker B: Can I just answer the question that we just got from cruising USA? Does the japanese Disney ship have a name yet? The answer is not no, it has no name yet. So the only ships that we know the names of are the treasure, the Destiny and the adventure. Anything beyond that, we don't know. [00:06:24] Speaker C: All right, here we go. This is, this is, this is going to, you're going to understand how this PowerPoint is sets a new gold standard right now. [00:06:31] Speaker B: Sorry, Ashley, I know you're watching animations. [00:06:34] Speaker C: Animations. All right, so CT, when we last saw each other. Go ahead, walk us through here. Yeah. [00:06:40] Speaker A: Okay. So it was March 20. Uh, that was the day of the keel laying. And I reached out to you and we had, I think we had a great time. That was, I had a fun, I had a blast. Uh, it's episode four or five if folks want to go back and listen to it and hear about, uh, either the predictions we got right or we got wrong, and it really was the start of the whole tinfoil mouse hair. So thank you, guys. I mean, the things I get for the trips that me and my wife go on, I'm forever grateful for. And I found this little corner of the, the community to kind of hang out in and participate in. So I appreciate it, you guys. [00:07:12] Speaker B: Well, we love, yeah, we love having you as a part of the community, and we love, we love the creation of tinfoil mouse ears. I mean, it has led to pictures like this and the ones you just saw on screen of just CT and I wearing a ridiculous tinfoil mouse ears. [00:07:28] Speaker C: Yeah, for sure. All right, first big announcement. Pride lands feast of the Lion King. So there you go. The Lion King is on this ship as a dinner show, basically. So it is the replacement for Arendelle and the cocoa restaurant coming on the treasure. It's going to be a dinner show with some menu. We don't know the menu. I think CT has helpfully predicted or prognosticating here over some things that might be fun to see, but we don't know the menu. Unlike the Coco restaurant, we don't even really know. They kind of teased out the story of the show a little bit. For Coco. This is going to be more of a. They said it's sort of like teasing out the songs that would be in the show and a mashup song that I think that they were going to. [00:08:13] Speaker B: Be doing a mashup between I just can't wait to be king and be prepared. So which is Simba's song, and scar song, which I love both of those songs. I will tell you guys, this is the thing of all the announcements that happened about this ship, beyond Hero Mini, which I'm obsessed with Hero Mini, this is the thing I'm actually most excited about. I love the Lion King. I was thinking maybe a stage show, but then I was a little bit worried they would sort of cannibalize their own market because they still have the stage show on Broadway and the national tours and all of that. But I mean, I look at these, the pictures that they released. They've only released two pictures and both of them look, to me, the headpieces look very reminiscent of the Broadway show. I just love this. I think it would be a great experience. I have a feeling it's going to be really loud in that restaurant in Pride Lands. But you know what? I'm here for it. I'm all about it. [00:09:06] Speaker A: Yeah. One of the things about it is a, is there going to be a giant line that comes out of the wall? Like festival of Lion King? Because that would be amazing. [00:09:16] Speaker B: That would be amazing. [00:09:17] Speaker A: Do they, how do they do this without Simba making it appearance? So it's going to come through some type of puppetry or animatronic. Right. Or maybe something on screen. [00:09:26] Speaker B: Yeah. Will we have acrobatics, like in. On the stage? I mean, we could. Right. You could have some. I'm not, I'm not thinking they're going to have trampolines, but they could have, like, you know, like in Cirque du Soleil with the. The things that they hang from the spinning. The aerialists. I feel like they could have aerialists in the center of the dining room. [00:09:46] Speaker C: Yeah. And to CT, to your point, Linda, saying from the Lion King show at Disneyland, so, you know, might they be importing some of that? I will just say I'm prepared to take the flak here. I will duck down and people can throw things at the screen. [00:09:58] Speaker B: Like, I'll throw things at you. [00:09:59] Speaker C: I was not excited for you. Can I get my opinion out there? Can I get my opinion out there? No, no, no. This is not rapid fire. This is live shows. So I can just remove you from the stage. No, but, like, I. So I really thought Lion King would be the stage show. And here's just why. I'm a little not, I don't want to say disappointed. I'm just not super pumped for it. Like, I think this is going to be great and I'm going to go experience it and it's going to be fun. I just feel like Lion King is a story on a grand scale, and I really feel like it needs a bigger stage than, like, what they can provide it in a dining room. And I was really hoping for Hercules to be the theme for this restaurant, maybe a little mediterranean food to keep kind of that trend going of we had Norway, now we have Mexico. Like, it just would have been kind of fun to have. And I think Hercules could have been told on like, a kind of a more smaller stage, personally. So. [00:10:56] Speaker A: Yeah, so I think the food's going to be great. Everyone. Like, Sinai is one of the most beloved resort restaurants at the parks down in Florida, so I think the food is going to be fine. I do agree with you, though. There's kind of a left and right limiting stake on what they can pull off in there. And the Lion King has been such a. Such a grand production from the original animated series. Right. Because through animation, they were able to dream endlessly about how many animals were in the image or, you know, and this is. You're right, Brian, there is a part of this where it gets truncated or it's just not as grand as we're used to out of the Lion Kingdom. Um, yeah, for sure. [00:11:36] Speaker B: I want to see if green technology, I think they did say, right, they're going to go. It's going to go from, like, day to night or whatnot. On the screens on the back wall. [00:11:45] Speaker C: They said the back wall of windows is going to go from day to night on the Pride lands. Yeah, on the savannah. [00:11:51] Speaker A: So, yeah, I do want to point out a prediction here, though, is on the six night sailings, I want to see a second menu like we see out of tangled or some of the other restaurants. And I have that second night be a Timon and Pumbaa takeover. [00:12:04] Speaker B: I love that idea. But I will say, yeah, here's a question Mara's asking. [00:12:08] Speaker C: How many nights do you think the cruise will be? I don't think it's going to get anything near six nights. [00:12:12] Speaker B: We think it's going to be four and five night sailings because it should be taking over. It's going to be out of Fort Lauderdale. Right. So it's likely to be taking over what the dream has been doing. So the four. I think it's going to be that four, four, five or four or five. Five, four. I can't remember how, whatever the dream is doing, but it's a rotating between four and five night sailing. So I think you're just going to get one full show in here, at least to start. I mean, it could rotate onto a different itinerary sometime thereafter, and they could add a second show. But I love your idea. I think that's brilliant. [00:12:45] Speaker A: If I had what I love, it would be when the dream comes back from Europe, because the dream will be the one going to Europe in 26. I think the. They haven't announced that, but I. [00:12:57] Speaker B: It's a fan. [00:12:58] Speaker A: Oh, sorry, 25. I think it's 26, which hasn't been announced yet. It's going to be the dream. And if that happens, when the dream comes back to Fort Lauderdale, I would love to see Disney figure out how to get back to Bermuda. And I think it would be great if the Destiny made its way up there and it got some longer sailings than in the offseason, which would help Disney sell some more seats on it. [00:13:21] Speaker B: And then maybe it could do even that. Those Canada sailings that they haven't really done. [00:13:26] Speaker A: It's a big ship for a lot of, like, bar harbors. Been pushing back on big ships is the hard part there. [00:13:31] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:13:31] Speaker C: We will find out on Thursday as much. [00:13:34] Speaker B: Well, we'll only find out at the beginning, but that's. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:13:38] Speaker A: I do like Dan, and as far. [00:13:41] Speaker C: As, I just want to answer Samara's last question here is where do we think they'll go if they're doing four or five night sailings? We should. We can skip ahead for a second and say Disney announced today in their press release that the ship will be home ported in Fort Lauderdale at Port Everglades. So if it's doing four or five night out of Port Everglades, it's going to be going to Nassau. Lookout key, castaway Key, maybe combinations of those, but not eastern, western, Caribbean as far as we would believe. Look, this seems like a move, by the way, but the newest ship in the home port that has always sort of struggled to get a little bit of audience traction, put it with the newest island and now shorter sailings that are a little bit more affordable for people than the longer sailings. And now maybe you can start to pump some volume through that new port terminal that they built. [00:14:32] Speaker A: And does it need locations initially to include lookout key? Because the ship's going to be the destination for a lot of customers. [00:14:39] Speaker B: Correct. I mean, we're just sort of, we're guessing as far as destinations, but it would make sense if it gets on that 445 rotation that it would be staying in the Bahamas rather than going further into the Caribbean. So we could expect Castaway and Nassau and perhaps on maybe the five night sailings, maybe it'll hit both. That would be, that would be great. There's some great ideas, a few ideas in the comments about food and, you know, what kinds of, I mean, we had online a discussion, right? Here's Linda saying the curry baked potato, like at troubadour tavern. Of course, CT has said, you know, sanaa. We've talked about sanaa. Bread service is amazing. Samara's saying ice cream, lion king ice cream bars. Matthew saying dessert made to look like the bugs from the song. Right. So like we could have like the dirt with the, with the gummy worms and things like that, the grubs. So things like there, there are, there's a lot of great opportunity for food, I think, in this venue and for some different things and some curries and things like that, which would be really fantastic. So I love the, I love this idea. I know Tracy's worried about the loudness of the dinner show. I think she's right to be worried about that in the sense that we know Arendelle is the loudest of the shows on the wish. Of the dinner shows on the wish. And I expect this will be also loud. In fact, the crowd will probably be so into it, it might be even louder than in Arendelle. [00:16:10] Speaker C: We'll see. We shall see. Let's keep going. We got, Sam, you don't know how many slides we got to get through here, so we got to get through. [00:16:17] Speaker B: Excited about it. I don't have as much to say about the other stuff. Sorry. [00:16:21] Speaker C: Next announcement. Next announcement. Edna Alamode sweets. So the little patch with Jack Jack and the ice cream cone turns out to be the sweet shop. It is going to feature, as I recall, like Edna's sewing machines and paraphernalia and fun ways that integrate into the sweet shop. And then obviously, you can see from the photo here, they're going to have Jack Jack and a statue of Edna in the middle. I will just say, I think this is fabulous, darling. So, yes, I love it. I love it. [00:16:50] Speaker B: I think this is cute. I mean, I like incredibles. I love Edna mode. I think Edna Allah mode is a cute mashup title. Yeah. [00:17:01] Speaker C: I think they just need numb nums to the point of this. They need num num cookies. Disney Cruise line. You have these at Disney's California adventure. Put them on the ship. They are delicious. [00:17:11] Speaker B: Exactly. But CT is right. This fashion studio prediction that we talked about that went away with this announcement, that's probably not. I mean, they're not going to have. We still think they'll probably have the incredibles, right? I mean, or something like the incredibles, if not the incredibles themed. There's opportunity to do something different. But, you know, we'll get into that, too. We're not going to have a million venues that are all incredibles themed. [00:17:37] Speaker C: Yeah. What did you think, CT? What did you think of the announcement? [00:17:41] Speaker A: This made sense. It just, my heart breaks for the fashion studio. Rest in peace. Cookies have got to happen, you know, every other Christmas or so, I find my wife a Disney cookbook that she flips through and she makes num num cookies from time to time. And they are. They're incredible. [00:17:59] Speaker B: Love it. Incredible. Perfect. Perfect. No capes, right? No capes here. [00:18:04] Speaker C: I wanted to do. I wanted to do this. We were doing this. So we're recording a show as these announcements come out that we'll put out at the end of the week with just kind of a raw, immediate reactions to these announcements. So I'm not going to do this for Sam and I, but CT, we've been rating on a scale of one to ten, some of the announcements. So Lion King Dinner show, where does that rate for you on a scale of one to ten? [00:18:23] Speaker A: I'll give it an eight. It's Lion King, so it can't be any less than that. [00:18:26] Speaker C: All right. And then that's fair. It's totally fair. And then the Edna Alamode sweets. Where does. Where does that fall for you? [00:18:33] Speaker A: I'm going to give it a seven because I love when Disney gets characters like Edna in the mix. Right. Like they usually. Elastigirl is easy, dash is easy. Edna is a great character that, you know, is a supporting cast member that gets to be the star of a location on a DCL ship. I'm down for that. [00:18:52] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:18:52] Speaker C: Nice. All right, next up, I just wanted to highlight, they did release some information about the staterooms. Now, interestingly enough, in the announcements that we saw in the write ups on the website, it focused almost exclusively, I think almost entirely on the concierge offering. And they did highlight that concierge will have. The two story royal suites will be themed out to the incredibles. You can see an example of that on the left. I mean, it's gorgeous. Very modern. The furniture looks different to me than what we've seen in some of the other settings. Those chairs against the windows in the back there. Interesting. They are bringing back those forward view suites. We saw some reference to those being called solarium suites, which is not how we've heard them referenced before in other ships. I don't know that that signals anything new or necessarily different with them, but that was interesting to see. On the right hand side here, you can see some of the Hercules theming for both. Just a regular ocean view stateroom as well as an inside cabin. So they did release some photos, or at least I should say artist renderings of these other cabin types. They had a veranda cabin. It was all either incredibles themed or Hercules themed. I'm still waiting to hear if they're going to have other theming in the staterooms. They did not announce that today, so just putting out there, they did give some renderings, but they have not confirmed if there's any other theming coming for the staterooms apart from incredibles and Hercules. [00:20:19] Speaker B: So, yeah, I'm guessing there will be other theming. They just haven't released it yet. [00:20:24] Speaker C: Yeah. And now, as we mentioned, they did also as a part of the press release announce that the home port for the ship would be Port Everglades. So, uh, we talked about that a little earlier in the show and they. [00:20:35] Speaker B: Had, we did have a comment to answer, brian, or a question to answer. Okay. Uh, that you starred. Uh, what do we think is happening with Marvel day out of sea? [00:20:44] Speaker C: Oh, we're going to talk about that toward the, we're going to talk about that toward the end I've started because we're going to come back to it. I got it. All right. Um, they also did announce today that, uh, the, the, like the sword and shield cafes that are on the wish. I can't remember what they're calling them on the, the treasure off the top of my head. [00:21:00] Speaker A: It's jade Cricket cafe and the Heihei cafe. [00:21:03] Speaker B: Oh, that's right. Thank you. I couldn't remember that either. [00:21:06] Speaker C: Yeah. Are going to be cafe Megara and cafe merida. Cafe Megara will have a Greco disco design, which I love that description in the documents today. And the, and the cafe Merida will have a celtic centered design. So I don't know, how do we feel about, I mean, I sort of look at and go, it's a coffee shop. It sounded like they were going to go a little bit more on the theming than they have on some of the other ships, but I can never tell. [00:21:34] Speaker A: So, yeah, I tried plugging Greco disco into AI to get an image and it broke it. So we'll see what Disney comes up with. [00:21:42] Speaker B: That broke my ears. My ears fell off. So, yeah, listen, I like Megara. I like Merida. But the cafe theming is never like such over the top theming. I mean, at least the chanted sword cafe, which is the sword and the stone and the wishing Star cafe, which is Pinocchio themed. Right. Neither of them is like, I mean, they're both pretty. And I like that they exist, but I like that they exist because there are multiple places to get coffee and drinks that are easier to get to than the COVID cafe because on the wish, the COVID cafe is like all the way really far in the back. And so it's completely out of the way if you're just wanting to get a coffee. So I'm, I'm cool with this. Um, it mentioned snacks and specialty drinks, like bar drinks. Tracy is asking and the answer is yes, you can get at, actually at, at the two ones. And on the wish you can get alcoholic drinks in addition to getting coffee drinks. [00:22:40] Speaker C: So it's usually coffee center. It's usually like, you can get like an espresso martini or, you know, maybe. [00:22:46] Speaker B: Yes. But they have some other things as well. They have some wine and things like that in the evening so you can, it's a similar, they don't have this full of an array as like Cove Cafe has, but they definitely have additional things in it, not just coffee. [00:22:57] Speaker A: Yep. [00:22:59] Speaker C: Now ct, I suspect you stumbled on this screen on the Disney Cruise line website that just has a ton of like coming soon information. Yeah. [00:23:06] Speaker A: Yeah. If you go to the Disney Destiny right now to see what's there, it is, you just scroll and it's a bunch of coming soon. The new announcements are included in there. So I imagine if folks want to watch along as the week goes and check out as they're making updates, maybe there'll be some that we catch that, you know, aren't in there. But I went and scrolled on the site today and all I got was coming soon. And then, but I could see the lion king. I could see Edna Alamode. I could see the stuff they've already announced. [00:23:31] Speaker C: So cool. Nice. Mike, give us a hint as to how much stuff they're planning to announce, which I think we'll talk about in a second. All right, go ahead, CT, walk us through now. [00:23:43] Speaker A: So what do we got right before today we got that a west coast ship is happening. Sam predicted specifically the magic. I wanted to see something bigger on the side. I have been digging into what fits through the Panama Canal and actually the dream class does. There are bigger ships gone through there from NCL. I'll do some posting on that next week when everything settles down about this. But I did a deep dive when I had a five hour layover in an airport and I've got spreadsheets and everything. [00:24:11] Speaker B: So I love it, CT. So it fits under the bridges because that was the thing. It was like, it was a bridge. That was the issue. It's not, it's not the canal itself. [00:24:19] Speaker A: So the canal is good all the way through. It's the bridge in Vancouver. It won't fit. I don't believe, obviously the bridge over in Sydney would be an issue, but it can get to the west coast. [00:24:29] Speaker B: Gotcha. [00:24:30] Speaker A: Doesn't mean it's going to be the same thing as a wonder, but the larger ones can go. But it looks like the magic's going first. And then we predicted that a fourth, we said after the adventure. Now they did it a little sooner than that. They must have good data on whether it's social media clicks or the interest that's happening over in Asia. But there is a fourth whiz clash ship that's coming, that's associated with the oriental land company. So we did get that. Right. So those are two announcements we got. Right. I think there's a few more we'll talk about here in a bit, but we got. [00:25:01] Speaker B: We got a few. Now. [00:25:02] Speaker C: Prepare for the onslaught of wrong and be wrong in your wrong. [00:25:07] Speaker A: Hey, we all love dreaming. We all dream. [00:25:08] Speaker B: Yeah, well, listen, these weren't necessarily wrong. It was like, what this, that was our wish list. Right. So I want to talk what we're missing. [00:25:17] Speaker C: I added this slide into here because I wanted to talk about at this point what we're missing, because let's be clear, what we got were two coffee bars, some stateroom theming, a dinner show, the dinner venue show, and the sweet shop. That's it. And it's Disney said around the treasure. Whatever we don't tell you about, you should assume is remaining the same. Right. And so I think there's might be. Well, I'm thinking that. I'm thinking that we're guaranteed the same is going to be said for the destiny, and I think there's probably some venues that aren't going to be announced because they're going to be the same. To tie this back to the beginning of the show for a second, I think it was so interesting that they announced the Lion King, and they didn't just say, like, you know, something in the press release about, like, hey, the Disney Destiny will also have, you know, fan favorite restaurants. 1923, worlds of Marvel, you know, whatever it is, because I, I don't think that's going to be any different. But what we don't know. We don't know the, we haven't seen the atrium art, which is usually, like, one of the first things they put out. We don't know who the statue, the main atrium statue is going to be on the ship. We don't know the stern character quite yet, although I will say we heard from someone out there in the Twitter sphere who basically said that they're hearing that it will be a non traditional character on the back of the ship, which I have a prediction for that, that we can talk about in a few minutes on another slide. But we don't have a stern character. We don't know the stage shows or any other shows that will be on board the ship to the point someone raised about Marvel Day at sea and that sort of thing. We don't have that information yet. Restaurants assume 1923 is coming back, strongly assume worlds of Marvel is coming back, assume Enchante is coming and Paolo is coming. But they did not confirm. [00:26:56] Speaker B: They haven't confirmed it. Yeah, they haven't said one way or the other. I think. I think we all from, I think an educated guess or an educated DCL enthusiast would say, yes, we're going to see 1923 and worlds of Marvel and enchanted and Paulo on the destiny, but that doesn't mean they can't decide to do something different. And worlds of Marvel, even if they do worlds of Marvel, we wouldn't know necessarily what show, because they are going to have two shows on the treasure, and we don't know which one of those shows they would import or if they would do an entirely new show over to the destiny. So that's also questionable. [00:27:34] Speaker C: We can do some more predicting. I just want to get through the list of what we don't have. Yes, we don't have anything about the pool deck in terms of theming. We assume, without knowing, the hero zone will return. We don't know if the festival foods is coming back, although I think it would be suicide for them not to bring it back because it's become so popular. We don't know about Marceline market, although, again, assume it's going to stay the same. We don't know anything about the bars on board, so we don't know if it's going to be an irish pub, a periscope pub, or something else. We don't know. Skipper, society, bayou theming on this ship. We don't know. Hyperspace haunted mansion theming on this ship. We don't know if the rose will return, although I would predict it would. Don't know anything about Nightingale. [00:28:11] Speaker A: Don't forget Nightingale. [00:28:12] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, nightingales. [00:28:13] Speaker C: Yeah, nightingales. Yep, yep. Nightingales. We don't know anything about the Luna, you know, which is don't know if maybe they'll finally close it off like everyone's been asking, but don't know anything about that. I should say we don't know anything about a running track, but that's. That's not coming. And then we don't know anything about other stateroom theming. I said this before about other than Hercules or the incredibles, and we don't know anything about the itineraries, the maiden date, or the pricing for the ship. So that's a lot that we don't know. So I think it's time to move to that portion of the show where we start speculating about what we want it all to be. So right in. [00:28:49] Speaker B: That is the best part. [00:28:51] Speaker C: All right, walk us through Ct all. [00:28:53] Speaker A: Right, so I went back to some of the old art and wanted to start on the right and left side of the hallway here. So Ed demode Olive suites. We've got that one solved, right? That one came out today. The next one down that hallway is the pirate it. I think we all were on board for some type of pirate of the Caribbean themed bar. I think that's still a safe bet. And I think it's the hyperspace lounge haunted Mansion parlor spot seems to be because the popularity will be so high. [00:29:21] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:29:22] Speaker A: In the prime location during Pirate night. [00:29:25] Speaker B: But I'm with you, CT. But we do know that there is the Mariner, which is a character from Haunted Mansion. Was one of the patches for Disney Destiny. [00:29:37] Speaker A: Have that answered later, I think. [00:29:38] Speaker B: Okay. All right. I'm going to try. I'm going to trust the process. [00:29:41] Speaker A: I'm going to come back to that one. I did not forget that one. And I kind of let you guys down on the haunted mansion last time. I think I have it this time. [00:29:48] Speaker B: Okay. All right. I love it. [00:29:50] Speaker A: And then Brian made the pirate to the caribbean unescapable tower suite prediction on the last one. [00:29:57] Speaker C: So. So that one will almost certainly be wrong, by the way. [00:30:00] Speaker B: But I think that one's going to be wrong. But I still like it. [00:30:03] Speaker A: You know, I liked all of our tower suite predictions. I think I had Zootopia. And Sam, you had a great one, too. I think they're all great ones. And I think none of them are going to stick because what they're doing in the tower suite seems to be so off the wall with the epcot one coming to the treasure. Who knows what, you know, what they dig into for that one. So. So that's the right side of the hallway, the left side of the hallway. Worlds of Marvel, I think is a dead given the haunted mansion theming. So Brian predicted a haunted mansion themed rotational restaurant where frozen cocoa venue is. I think. Well, we now know that's gone and that's why he's really upset about the Lion King wants him. Yeah, don't let him tell you otherwise. [00:30:42] Speaker B: You're right. I think you're right. [00:30:43] Speaker A: But I actually think that there's an organ bar. [00:30:47] Speaker B: I love that idea. [00:30:48] Speaker A: Like a piano bar where the scat cat nightingales is. And I think that's the haunted mansion area. [00:30:53] Speaker B: Oh, yes. You could still have another haunted mansion bar, but a different haunted. I like that idea. [00:30:58] Speaker A: Smaller venue like the Oregon is popular. And especially with the movie that came out, both movies, both the Muppet version and the regular Haunted Mansion movie. I think there's a place for a small one with the organ, which was a centerpiece for both. Yeah, I think that and that's such a popular part when you go through the ride with the dancing ghouls in the room. And there's probably some neat stuff they can do with some projections on the wall. That's where I'm going to put my flag in the ground. [00:31:24] Speaker D: Are you listening to our show? Because you want to make the most out of your next vacation. Great news. [00:32:22] Speaker C: At the risk of pouring a little water on that prediction, here's my concern. Is that because the ship is going to be down in Fort Lauderdale and they seem so like, it seems like they're really trying to draw a crowd in. I just wonder if, like, I don't like it. I just wonder if they're going to repeat the haunted mansion bar and say, like, well, yeah, yeah, that'll bring more people in to Fort Lauderdale to see this ship on the shorter sailing. I truly hope I am 100% wrong on that, but I just, I worry that that's they're going to lift and shift that bar overdose to just be haunted mansion. [00:32:55] Speaker A: So what's the repeated themed bar that exists in the Disney cruise line? [00:33:01] Speaker C: Well, like the Ogil's irish pubs, those are repeated throughout. Themed none. But here's my thinking. Here's my thinking. I think Star wars turned out to be a mistake, and I think it did not work for them. And so they shifted to a new theme, haunted mansion. That has generated a ton of excitement. And assuming that they execute it well, I think they're predicting people are going to love it, and then they're going to put it on the next ship. [00:33:24] Speaker B: Too, like, but they thought that's how hyperspace lounge was going to go, and it did get a lot of hype at the beginning, and then it was a lot of disappointment. So, you know, there can be a lot of hype behind. [00:33:35] Speaker C: I hope I'm wrong. I hope I'm wrong. [00:33:38] Speaker B: Yeah, I want to do that. I hope that CT is right, but I'm going to just put it. I don't know. I mean, there's definitely going to be something haunted mansion themed. I think. I think it's more likely that Brian is right. I hate saying that with regard to the haunted mansion themed bar. [00:33:53] Speaker A: Get a t shirt, Brian. [00:33:54] Speaker B: But I get the t shirt, right. I think the more likely he's. But I honestly, I hope he's wrong. I really hope that you're right, ct. Yeah. [00:34:04] Speaker C: All right. [00:34:05] Speaker B: All right. So what are the patches? [00:34:07] Speaker A: Yeah, so the patches. So let's go to the next r1 quick. You know, the first thing I want. [00:34:12] Speaker B: To point out is, I love this, by the way. [00:34:14] Speaker A: The patches are totally different than the maps we got in the past. [00:34:18] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:34:18] Speaker A: Yep. A total different way of presenting this ship from what we've seen out of the last two. And I don't know if that's because, um, this was a good way to reach out to the community and they wanted to do something different or. Because. Because they did the map for the adventure, even. [00:34:33] Speaker B: Yep. [00:34:34] Speaker A: So I don't know, but it's kind of weird that they. They switched it up. Maybe they want to make the ship feel different. Cause it's out of Fort Lauderdale and they're trying to differentiate it. I don't know, it just very different vibe. Um, these ones, I think, are all givens, right? Like, uh, so this for this first one, this is just straight up Disney destiny representation, right? [00:34:51] Speaker B: Hero mini. [00:34:52] Speaker A: Yeah. Mini is great. I want to see. Can I just say the hero mini and the hero Mickey as, like, stuffies that people are buying out of, you know. Oh, the gift shop like crazy. [00:35:03] Speaker B: There will be two of. If there is a hero mini plushie, and if there's a hero Mickey, one, of course, as well. But if there's a hero mini plushie, I will own that plushie, like, as fast as I can. I mean, I now own, like, Munich, Minnie and Mickey, and London. Minnie and Mickey and Bahamian. Mini and Mickey. So I'm on that train. [00:35:25] Speaker C: Can I pick up on this for just 1 second and say, I really hope to your point ct to go back to a second for the. How they're doing this. Maybe they actually sell those bags in the gift shop with like patch packets that you can then like buy the bag and take the patches and make them your own. I think that would be. That'd be. Maybe that's kind of what they're forecasting a little bit here. [00:35:44] Speaker A: Or they're all sewn onto a lounge fly backpack already. [00:35:48] Speaker C: Yeah, well, yeah, well, that one's. [00:35:50] Speaker B: I mean, those are fly off the shelves, right? [00:35:53] Speaker C: I mean, yeah, yeah, yeah. I love it. [00:35:58] Speaker B: I want anyone who has the patches and doesn't want to keep them, call me, because I would take all of the patches, I'm going to put them on like a denim jacket or something. I love them. [00:36:08] Speaker A: Okay, so the Kundamatata is easy, right? We got the pride lands feast of the Lion King today. Edna Alamode suites we got. That's an easy one. The incredi course, I think is a given. [00:36:20] Speaker C: I agree. Herozone is definitely coming back with the incredible course. It was just. [00:36:23] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. What's left? There's a lot that's left here. Okay, so let's go to the next one and let's try to break these up a little bit. So there's a lot here for this just to be the worlds of Marvel. And I'm going to go on a limb and I'm going to say the stern character. Yeah, Marvel. [00:36:41] Speaker C: We think I'm actually going to go one step further. And so I agree. I'm going to go one step further. [00:36:46] Speaker B: I'm the one who came up with Spider Man, Brian. [00:36:48] Speaker A: Yeah, Spider Man. [00:36:51] Speaker B: I disagree. I don't think it's going to be Spider Man. I think we're going to see Rocket and Groot because they're non humanoid characters. [00:37:00] Speaker A: That's great. I also would love. I see the Stark industries. I'd also love to see Iron man back there 100%, you know, Iron man go away, you know, during the last Avengers movie. What a wonderful tribute to where they left him kind of in the, the Marvel MCU lore then to give him, kind of give him an homage. And I take it in. I guess I take it in the grand hall as well. [00:37:24] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:37:24] Speaker C: Well, and I'll say this like Spider man and Iron man go together on the back of the show. You had Spidey throwing a web and Iron man flying by, like, that could be kind of cool. [00:37:34] Speaker B: That would be cool. [00:37:35] Speaker C: I mean, there's gonna be a lot people out there who are very traditionalists on these stern characters who are going to hate this, by the way, but I say they're going to want to embrace it. It's going to be cool. I think it's going to be really cool. [00:37:45] Speaker A: I just think there's too much here for it not to pop up somewhere else. [00:37:48] Speaker B: I agree. But we know it's going to be in. I would guess it's going to be in the kids club in addition to worlds of Marvel. But I'm with you. I think there's a little bit more here. CT. [00:37:57] Speaker A: So this is where I was going to go next, is where. Come on, son. Went, which, by the way, love the shout out to. I'm going to assume that's a psych shadow as well. [00:38:05] Speaker C: Come on. [00:38:08] Speaker A: I think that. I actually think that Black Panther, when we look at, like, the mural that was done after the passing of Chadwick, I think that. I think Black Panther on the back of the ship is also a wonderful. [00:38:21] Speaker B: What a great tribute. Yeah. [00:38:23] Speaker A: And a tribute to him. So. And, you know, bring out a family member and let them be the God, fairy godmother of the ship or whatever, like, that would all be great. [00:38:32] Speaker C: So I think it has to be marvel. But I love this comment. No other reason than there is no other character I can think of who so singularly embodies being both a hero and a villain at the same time. So I just. [00:38:46] Speaker B: Loki does, too, to me. [00:38:48] Speaker C: Sorry. And for those at home, the comment was Captain Jack Sparrow hanging off the back. So just to clarify that. But yeah, yeah, yeah. So. [00:38:54] Speaker B: And by the way, come on, son is saying, yes, it is. Psych. Loves that. He loves that. Both CT and Brian both caught that reference. Just putting it out there, Brian is a huge. [00:39:05] Speaker C: I'm going to say, you know. That's right. You know. All right, so the other thing I just want to call out on the. I totally agree. A third of these patches are Marvel. And I agree it is way too much for it not to just be worlds of Marvel. I do think. A couple of predictions I have. One is the groot with the music signs. I think that's signaling that that Groot show is going to be in worlds of Marvel, that they just announced the treasure point. [00:39:31] Speaker B: That's an excellent point. [00:39:33] Speaker C: And I wonder if Spider man might just sort of be announcing because they have the spidey show and they have the Groot show. Although if they're doing four or five night sailings. They don't actually need two shows, so I don't know why they do both. [00:39:43] Speaker A: I love Iron man. [00:39:45] Speaker B: Yes. They definitely have marvel stuff in the kids club on the wish, and they will on the treasure, and so they should on the destiny as well. There should be a marvel room, actually in the kids club as well. [00:39:57] Speaker A: I would love to see a loki, doctor Strange back and forth for the Marvel show. [00:40:04] Speaker B: I love that idea. [00:40:06] Speaker A: That would be really great. [00:40:07] Speaker B: So, I mean, those are my favorite Marvel actors, so I'm all about. [00:40:13] Speaker A: Captain America's gone. Died, and it's gone. [00:40:15] Speaker B: Exactly. Well, that, listen, I. [00:40:18] Speaker C: Could we get. Sorry, could we get a. Could we potentially get. I'm just gonna throw this out there. If the theme of the ship is heroes and villains, could we see them move away from a pirate deck party in favor of a superheroes deck party with fireworks? [00:40:31] Speaker B: Marvel's unite or heroes unite deck party. [00:40:34] Speaker A: That'd be great. I mean, they've got a lot of stuff to work with there when it comes to heroes. And, and they can keep refreshing it. It'll be interesting to see how they do that with the, you know, they kind of do this, like, rock band right now with the pirate show. I'm excited to see how they integrate it. [00:40:51] Speaker C: That'll be great. Yeah, someone keeps posting. Someone keeps posting. By the way, Deadpool on the back. [00:40:58] Speaker B: We all. We love Deadpool. I have not yet seen the movie Deadpool and Wolverine, but I'm going to put. Go out there on a limb and say Deadpool will not. [00:41:08] Speaker C: I feel like if he's hanging off. [00:41:09] Speaker B: Probably won't be even featured on the ship. [00:41:11] Speaker C: Yeah, if he's hanging off the back of the ship. Yeah, if he's hanging on the back of the ship, he's going to be giving the whole world the middle finger. Like, that's the only way Deadpool would roll, so. Yeah, yeah. All right. All right. Let's keep going here. If we can. Lost my PowerPoint window, but now I'm bringing it back up. So there go. [00:41:27] Speaker A: All right, so this one's an easy for me. [00:41:31] Speaker B: Panic, not pain and fear. [00:41:32] Speaker A: Oh, thank you. Pain and panic. And look at the. If you look at. Closely at those, it's not pain and panic. Those are masks. Theater masks. [00:41:41] Speaker B: Oh, you nailed it. See? So I have not actually seen this patch. This is the first time I'm actually seeing. Seeing this patch. I said, hercules the musical or Lion King the musical? When we last talked about this, I. [00:41:55] Speaker A: Said we'd see Hercules. [00:41:57] Speaker B: Yeah, I think you're. I. This is going to be Hercules. And Hercules musical is so good. So this is an awesome. This is an awesome thing. [00:42:05] Speaker A: I'm very excited for this. Love Hercules. Love that it's going to be on the show. I'm sticking to the show based on those looking like theater masks. [00:42:13] Speaker B: You are exactly right. Like I said, I had not seen this. This patch actually had only heard about this patch. I. Yeah. And I'm obsessed with the song. I won't say I'm in love, so I'm all about it. I can't wait to. In fact, if we had, like, a Broadway visiting artist doing Megara, I would die. I'm just. Yeah, love it. [00:42:33] Speaker A: And then for these, I think we have three bars and lounges right here. I think the champagne bar was a great idea, and I think that one was a nail on the head. I still am going to go with the pirates of Caribbean and the main one, I like the haunted mansion, and I actually like the Groot as another one of the bars or lounges. And I like it to be a karaoke bar. [00:42:56] Speaker B: Oh, that would be. That would be fun. I don't think that that's going to happen. But we. I do think. I do like the idea, though. [00:43:03] Speaker A: But I get the music is seen around the Guardians of Galaxy movies. [00:43:06] Speaker B: Yeah. But I do think Brian's right, though. That might more signal the Groot show in worlds of Marvel that's been announced for the treasure. That's the only reason why I think. [00:43:16] Speaker C: That I just got. I got to stop and say Terry, Hercules. Hercules. And she's also complimenting. Good call with your Broadway guest prediction, Sam. [00:43:23] Speaker B: Yeah, I would love that. Yeah. [00:43:25] Speaker C: And Linda's also really liking the Hercules, the musical 2.0. Yeah, I agree that. So haunted mansion is going to be some kind of bar. Like I said before, I worry it will be the same bar, which I really hope it's not. I love the idea of a Cruella de ville bar space pirates of the Caribbean would be, you know, it'd be so cool is if they did that for where the periscope pub is on treasure. They did something like that there. So I think that could be really, really cool execution. [00:44:00] Speaker A: Swap the pirates of the Caribbean into the piano bar space because of the organ from Long John. So. [00:44:06] Speaker C: Yeah, I love all these. [00:44:09] Speaker B: Yeah, I love all these decisions. I think you're right, though. I actually think now I'm thinking I like, between you and Brian saying about where the periscope pub and which is by you, I actually really think that could be pirate themed. Yeah, yeah. [00:44:22] Speaker C: All right, so I got to correct one thing on this slide before we dive into discussion here. CT, which is. That is not cars. That is vanilla. That is vanilla pizza from wreck it rouse. Yeah, yeah, yeah, man. [00:44:35] Speaker A: I don't know. Then I think of an LP van suite splash pad with, like, you know, I see mint candies and all that stuff that they use to design her car and race around on the kids play area. [00:44:50] Speaker B: And then the land world that she races in would be a great theming for splash pad. Yeah. And I think you're right. I think Olaf is going to be, because he's holding that drink. I think it's going to be that wheezy's freezies place is going to be. Yeah. [00:45:05] Speaker C: So when he's sitting on it, he's sitting on a Disney Cruise line lounger. [00:45:08] Speaker B: You can see on the pool deck. [00:45:10] Speaker C: Right. [00:45:10] Speaker B: He's got to be a pool deck bar. And I'm putting that in quotations because they do, like, smoothies and other. And frozen drinks and stuff. [00:45:18] Speaker A: I don't see a towel. If he gets up from that deck chair, it's anybody's. [00:45:26] Speaker B: He's good. You know what? He's gonna leave one of his arms there or something. So it's gonna be funny. Or his carrot nose. Exactly. Pull out his nose and just leave it there. That's how he's gonna save it. Yeah. [00:45:36] Speaker C: I really like this idea. Sticking to my Vanellope obstacle course. [00:45:39] Speaker B: I like this idea, too, Linda. But I think that's. [00:45:42] Speaker A: I think that's when Linda should be an imaginary, right? [00:45:45] Speaker B: Yeah. Linda would make a great imaginary. She's got great ideas. I still agree that incredible course is more likely, but I do think a vanellope themed race car. Vanellope themed race car track would be great for a replacement for the incredible horse. But I just think incredibles is probably more likely because the theming, I think for that doesn't matter so much. They already have the blueprint. They've already created this big thing that they do on the wish, so. Yeah. [00:46:11] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:46:12] Speaker B: All right. [00:46:13] Speaker C: What's. That's the end of it. [00:46:15] Speaker B: This is the end of the end of the slide. [00:46:17] Speaker C: I think we should roll back through and talk about some of the comments and questions that we got that may not have answered. [00:46:23] Speaker B: Can you go back to the patches, though, and just leave the picture with the patches up? Because I love that. [00:46:27] Speaker C: Yes. [00:46:28] Speaker A: So I have one that wasn't in the patches and they didn't talk about in the recent. If you can see, I popped in some of the social media pictures that they posted on their instagram and on the website. No Star wars here. [00:46:42] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:46:43] Speaker A: There's not a Star wars patch, but we. We heard Star wars in the initial release, and then they didn't feature it anywhere on here, so kind of interesting. [00:46:53] Speaker B: Yeah. But you know what? They probably will have the Star wars room in the kids club, right? That creature room thing. So that could. I mean, that could be the only Star wars theming. [00:47:05] Speaker A: But don't we all deserve more, Sam? [00:47:07] Speaker B: We do. We absolutely deserve more. [00:47:10] Speaker C: Star wars. Someone in the comments said that the character off the back should be Darth Vader. [00:47:15] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:47:16] Speaker C: So. Yeah. [00:47:18] Speaker B: Cause he says. What does he say? He says, I'm your destiny, or something like that. [00:47:22] Speaker C: Right. [00:47:22] Speaker B: But then. Then I think it should be George McFly saying, I'm your density, so. [00:47:27] Speaker C: All right. [00:47:28] Speaker B: All right. [00:47:28] Speaker C: Let's. Let's talk about some of these comments back here. I started a few. So how about Marvel Day at Seattle Fort Lauderdale? I think it's absolutely a possibility, given how Marvel heavy everything is looking right now. But I don't. [00:47:39] Speaker A: I don't think in the first year. [00:47:41] Speaker B: Yeah, I agree. But, you know, we still have. Have another ship going out of Fort Lauderdale part of this. So this ship, I think, is going to be. We only know Fort Lauderdale, but I think this is going to be full time Fort Lauderdale. But based on the port agreements, I believe they're going to have at least one other ship out of Fort Lauderdale part of the time as well. And so whichever ship that is, which I can't remember off the top of my head, because now we have just too many ships. I can't keep them. Okay, so the dream. The dream still has Marvel. The dream has the one that's been doing Marvel Day at sea. So to me, that signals that the dream will continue doing the Marvel day at sea cruises out of Fort Lauderdale. The destiny won't. But I agree with UCT. I think in the future and maybe in a year's time or whatnot, that the destiny could take over Marvel day at sea. And there's a ton of marvel theming already, so it would fit in really well. I think Beth asked. She must have joined us late about the itineraries they haven't released, other than being out of Fort Lauderdale. But we. Our prediction is that it's going to be replacing the dream's current itinerary, which is the 445 or the 554. I can't remember the pattern exactly, but four and five night cruises, which means it would be Bahamas. So that's our prediction, although they have not announced it. [00:48:56] Speaker C: So Samara's asking, do we like Fort Lauderdale better or Port Orlando or Port Canaveral better? So I will just say I think that Port Canaveral is a better port for the overall experience, meaning you can fly into Orlando from many places. Direct. It's. Fort Lauderdale has direct flights. Not as many. Miami has obviously, a lot of direct flights. But the draw for me is you have all the theme parks in Orlando, and you fly in, so you can for, like, a four or five night cruise. The nice thing is to kind of fly in, spend a few days at the parks, go out to the port, do the cruise, go home, and I will continue to beat the drum of, in that order so that you get the relaxation on the back end of your vacation. But that. That is attractive. Yeah, the new port in Fort Lauderdale is great. Yeah. [00:49:41] Speaker B: Yeah, the new port and Fort Lauderdale. There's, like, I would say if you're looking at, you know, just doing a cruise and you're not thinking about doing parks, like, and you. And you have decent flight options to Fort Lauderdale, which is closer than Miami. The Miami airport's about another about an hour away, whereas Fort Lauderdale is, like, really, really close the airport. So to me, I would say if you're just looking cruise, cruise, I'd say Fort Lauderdale is just as good as Portland. But I agree with Brian. If you. If you're going to take a longer vacation, you know, and you want to hit a couple days at the parks, then you want to be sailing out of Port Canaveral. But we have heard great things about the. About bright line, so that's an option to get in between the two. And so we. We were, in fact, just talking about the bright line the other day with a guest. That episode will be out later, but they were raving about how great of an experience the bright line was for transport between Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. So they had a great experience, and they highly recommend it. [00:50:41] Speaker C: And, Beth, to answer your question, no, this would be a first of its kind. They've always used one of those sort of classic characters, animated characters on the stern. So if they go with Marvel, it would be very different. The reason that we're going that direction is because we got a message from someone who has indicated that they are expecting a non traditional character officer. I don't know how reliable that is. Guess. But it's an interesting thought experiment to think about with heroes and villains and all of the emphasis in the Marvel Cinematic universe and everything that. Everything that just happened at Comic Con with Robert Downey Junior, like, now being a villain. [00:51:15] Speaker B: Doctor Doom. Yeah. Well, to be fair, we do have hook and Peter on the back of the. [00:51:24] Speaker C: Characters. [00:51:25] Speaker B: They are, but we have a villain and a hero, and I think that's the first time we've had a villain and a hero on the ship to, you know, on the. On the back of a ship, all the other characters are all hero or classic characters. Right. So Jeff is saying, I hope it's figment. I don't think on this ship. [00:51:41] Speaker C: Yeah, I think we. We have a D 23 prediction. I'm going to have CT hold us to, and we're going to have them back after D 23, that they're going to announce two more ships to the fleet at D 23. If they do, I fully expect that one of those is finally going to be named the Disney imagine or the Disney imagination, and it will have figment as a part of it. That's my prediction. [00:52:00] Speaker B: I agree. Think this ship. I don't think the heroes and villains theming, I don't think figment works in that. Like, if you want, I mean, they could do like a figment funnel suite or something like that. Right? Because the funnel suite seems to have nothing to do with the theming of the ship in general. But I don't think we're going to see a figment character on this, on this ship. [00:52:19] Speaker A: So from the figment to the. I see a bunch of comments that Brian's going to get ready to roll to talk about the Tiki room. I love that idea. That's a great idea for a ship. I don't think that's on this ship. I think that also, like my mister toad pub dream is also gone. Although I have Disney listen to that one and take it. Right. They give me a pub that is Mister Toad theme. And then it goes into the ichabod crane transition over the Halloween on the high seas. Right. Like, paying homage to the way those two came to us together, so. But I think those are really great ideas. I think Disney probably has those in their pocket for later. [00:53:03] Speaker C: Yeah. Linda and season were the ones who both said that the tiki room bar would be a good idea. I think if they were going to do it, they would have done it. That's what they're trying to do with Skipper canteen or not. Skipper can see Skipper society on the treasure. Yeah. Or maybe they'll put something like that on the adventure. But yeah, for the ship heroes and. [00:53:21] Speaker B: Villains or on a future ship. I don't think on this heroes and villains theme ship, but I agree. I think those are great future ideas that they might use on a future ship. Yeah. [00:53:30] Speaker A: Isn't there a little bit about staying away from some of the haunted things and some of that tiki room stuff over in some of the asian parks? Isn't that. Isn't there a thing where that just doesn't play as well? [00:53:44] Speaker C: Yep. [00:53:44] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:53:44] Speaker C: The haunted mansion doesn't. Doesn't play well over there. So they have, like, I forgot what it is. It's like a mystic manor Shiva monkey. Yeah. Yeah. Who runs around instead. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All right. On the subject of the patches, Sean saying maybe a castaway club gift. [00:53:59] Speaker A: That's a great idea. Or inaugural sailing. [00:54:02] Speaker C: Inaugural sailing. Or maiden gift. For sure. It could be possible. Linda's saying, I was going to say I want the patches. I put the patches on my castaway club tote, and people love them. [00:54:12] Speaker B: Beth is also saying she wants to buy the patches. [00:54:16] Speaker C: Yeah. Sean is saying for the atrium character, maybe Groot and rocket. [00:54:20] Speaker B: That's what I. Well, I said that on the stern, but I love that I would take that in the atrium. [00:54:25] Speaker C: Will, I will say this. Either marvel is going to appear on the stern or marvel is going to appear on the atrium, but the. [00:54:31] Speaker A: Agreed 100%. [00:54:32] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. [00:54:33] Speaker B: Not going to be in both. I agree. Yeah. [00:54:35] Speaker C: Yeah. And I think. I think more likely that we would see a more traditional character in the atrium. What I think is what I would love to see them do, except she's already on another ship, is actually hero. Minnie is the atrium character, but she's already. Minnie's already on one of the other ships with. Isn't she holding an umbrella? Isn't that one of the other ships? She's on mad Mozambique. She's in. [00:54:55] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Yeah. [00:54:56] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:54:56] Speaker A: So the dream, maybe. [00:54:58] Speaker C: Yeah. So I just. I. I'd love to see her be the atrium character. [00:55:02] Speaker B: She can't be the atrium character. She's the. She's the Hulk, so she. Yeah, the filigree. She can't be the atrium character also. It's just. [00:55:10] Speaker C: Who's the Fab five that's not on a ship currently that. That, I guess. Are they all represented? [00:55:14] Speaker B: Yeah. Goofy and I don't know if that's heroic, unfortunately. Well, I mean, maybe if he's wearing his sports gear or something. [00:55:22] Speaker C: You know what they. [00:55:23] Speaker A: His Three Musketeers gear. [00:55:25] Speaker C: You know what they could. [00:55:27] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:55:28] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. You know what they could do? I'm just gonna put out there. Pluto standing tall, chest out, cape waving behind him. Like, I feel like there is a. There are some Disney cartoons or Pluto's like a superhero. I feel like that's happened. Yeah, that could be fun. [00:55:43] Speaker A: Maybe it's a. Oh, it's fantasy. [00:55:45] Speaker B: That. That she's in that peacock outfit on Linda's reminding us. Thank you, Minnie. That she's on fantasy, not on dreams. [00:55:52] Speaker C: I. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. [00:55:54] Speaker B: There was one other comment you wanted to pull up about the tower suite. This is a great idea, Jeff. Jeff Linwood saying Pixar up house, tower suite. And they could do like, a sweepstakes like they did. And I can't remember what the comment is because you took the comment down, Brian. [00:56:11] Speaker C: Oh, they did an Airbnb sweepstakes to stay in a house that looks just like the up house. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And come on, son. We got. Every time I see it, I got to put it up. Is saying, I think I would rather see Black Panther in the atrium. I mean, I 100% think they could do a really nice job with Black Panther in either place. I really suspect stern characters may be Marvel because they're action oriented and they can show them doing active things for the atrium. You want that kind of, like, stoic, statuesque pose. Now? I'll just put this out there. Other option is, of course, the original Avenger, Captain America, being an atrium statue. [00:56:49] Speaker B: Listen, I know Ct. I did say my favorite actors right now are the, from the event from Marvel are Doctor Strange and Loki. But that's only because Chris Evans from as Captain America is no longer an Avenger. So I do love me some Sam, though, let's be honest. I love me some Sam Wilson. [00:57:07] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm excited for that movie. [00:57:08] Speaker B: So. Yeah. [00:57:09] Speaker C: All right. All right. Well, I'm just going to say this. I hope the entire ship is not Marvel. So I hope they, they find some ways to weave some other hero and villain stories. And I understand it's a big property for them from a, from that standpoint. But I hope. I hope they have some other things planned. And I guess we will find out tomorrow. There should be another set of announcements dropping. I'm assuming there'll be another drop around 10:00 a.m. it'll be interesting to see if they do more than what they did today. I actually have a mild prediction, which is maybe we'll see kind of a reverse announcement where we see some things dribble out today and tomorrow to build a little excitement. And on Thursday, we'll get the big video, just sort of ties it all together and introduce you to the final spaces and things that they didn't introduce and gives and then drops the itinerary. So that could also be an interesting way to do this. Build a little excitement over a few days, get people talking about it, build some energy, and then drop the video, maybe. [00:58:02] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:58:03] Speaker A: So I hope all of our friends in the travel community don't have plans for next week. [00:58:09] Speaker B: Yeah, we're with. So I. A couple of different housekeeping stuff. We are, we are not doing a live tomorrow. We actually have a recorded episode scheduled with a guest that we've all rescheduled previously. So we are going to do that recorded episode, and then we. But we will see you all live on Thursday, same time, 05:00 p.m. pacific. 08:00 p.m. eastern. We will be live talking about whatever the announcements were for tomorrow and for Thursday, which, as we said, we fully expect itineraries on, on Thursday. I mean, this is, that's another prediction. We don't know that for sure, but that means we are also expecting bookings to start next Monday. We will be back again our, our normal regularly scheduled time, which is 530 Pacific. 08:00 p.m. eastern on Monday. We will be 838-3535 03:00 p.m. pacific. 08:30 p.m. eastern on Monday with the folks from popular cruising. So we. Yeah. So you will have us three times this week, but then we'll be back on Monday. So don't, never fear. You will see us lots this week. All right. [00:59:16] Speaker C: All right. And with that, we want to say thank you to CT for coming on the amazing PowerPoint. Love your stuff. If you're not following CT out there, you should ct let folks know where they can follow you. [00:59:27] Speaker B: Yes. [00:59:28] Speaker A: So it's tinfoil m ears. It's. I'm on the road, so shout out to great moms my mom tracked down set of mouse ears for me because I didn't bring them with me on the road. I'm traveling a little bit this week, so. No, it's. [01:00:21] Speaker B: Real mouse ears, mom. Yeah. [01:00:23] Speaker C: Ps, I'm the only one who wore my ears for the entire. [01:00:26] Speaker A: That's because you were afraid you were. [01:00:27] Speaker B: Going to disconnect Brian and mine actually fell off. They were, they were just, they're not really stable with the headphones. I need to get. Brian was saying, and I think he's right, I need to get the headphones that have those ears built in. They do exist. So I'm going to find. [01:00:41] Speaker C: I'm going to say forget magnets. We need to get. We need to get CT an Etsy store that sells tenfoil mouse ears. That's what we really. All right, all right. That's my last comment for the night. Thank you ct for coming on.
