[00:00:00] Speaker A: The thing that stuck out to me here, though, is the Imagineers took this next level and they actually have a fish tank which has fish that are skeletons that are swimming around.
It was mind blowing. There was one of the Imagineers that developed it was there and I said, how are you? Is this real? How are you doing this? And I thought he was gonna, like, start talking to me and tell me. And he goes, it's Disney magic. I'm like, yeah, I know they're not gonna tell me, but I think it's worth a shot. I'm just. My mind is blown.
[00:00:46] Speaker B: Live from New York, it's the DCL duo. That's right. We had to fly all the way across country today. For those of you who are not in our Facebook group, we live in the Seattle area which experienced a bomb cyclone earlier this week. And we had been without power for two days. We planned to come to New York to visit family. And so we accelerated our trip so that we have warmth, light, electricity, and WI fi. So, so we're here. We're using a little bit of a different setup than normal. You can see Sam and I actually sitting next to each other.
[00:01:14] Speaker C: We actually live in the same place.

[00:05:35] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:05:35] Speaker B: All right.
[00:05:36] Speaker C: All right.
[00:05:36] Speaker B: Let's get onto the. Let's get onto the show now.
So, Emily, you walk people first.
[00:05:44] Speaker C: Let's tell people who Emily is. Emily's been on the show before.
Once before, we talked about who each ship on Disney Cruise Line is for. Emily is, of course, a Disney Cruise Line addict as well as an addict in the parks. Actually made her first visit to Mecca, meaning Disneyland Resort, recently. And so she's actually a newbie to Disneyland, but a pro at Disney World. She also owns a travel agency that's called We Do Disney. Right. We Do Travel. Right. And so she has a ton of experience with guiding people through their Disney vacations in particular and other vacations as well. And she was invited on board the Disney Treasure yesterday in New York City to basically, basically tour the ship. Right?
[00:06:34] Speaker A: It was. And so, yes, it was phenomenal. Yep.
[00:06:38] Speaker C: Yeah. So she agreed to come on back on our show to talk to us about this amazing experience, to kind of walk us through things that she saw, what are, like, the best and most amazing things that they've now updated, of course, from the. From the wish to the treasure. And so, yeah, we're going to talk about that. And if you've got questions in the chat, feel free to ask the questions as we go. But let's start Emily with first impressions of the Disney Treasure. I imagine you got to New York City yesterday morning, or did you stay overnight and see her the night before at the christening?
[00:07:13] Speaker A: Yes, I'm pretty crazy. And I decided to, you know, drive there and then drive back. So it was a pretty long day. But honestly, I was. It was. It was definitely worth it. It was worth it. And I kind of went into it. I wanted to go into it with an open mind. But like, we were kind of chatting about beforehand, it's not that I don't love the wish. It's just not my most favorite ship. So I was kind of going into it being like, well, I know kind of what they do. They'll just kind of, you know, Take a copy and make this ship. And it's going to be new and it's going to be great, but it's going to be really similar to the Wish. And I couldn't have been more wrong. And of course, there were definitely things that we'll see from the Wish to the treasure, but I think that the differences were far greater than when they have done ships in the past when they've just done the cookie cutter. It's kind of like, you know, you kind of know what you're getting when you go onto a ship. And like I said, I was kind of feeling like, okay, Emily, have an open mind. You know, it's not that I would have been disappointed, but like, yeah, yeah, same old, same old. Okay. But it was certainly. It blew my mind. And not that I'm not easily impressed, but I felt like this was next level. They went above and beyond. I, My, my jaw is still on the floor, honestly. And I'm not being medic. I am being completely honest. And wow. My. You know, people that have been following me for a while know that I am very honest in how I, you know, if I don't like places to eat or if I didn't like experiences, like, I'll be very honest and tell people how I feel about, you know, certain ships or resorts or things like that. And when I tell people that this is going to be the ship you want to be on, this is it. This is the one. Oh, my gosh. I'm so in love. I'm in love. I haven't even done it yet. I'm in love.
[00:09:10] Speaker B: The photos of the atrium are stunning. And as you're describing this, what it's making me remember is the Wish was built kind of during the COVID period. And I think they had some challenges around construction and materials availability and all kinds of stuff. And this time around, they, they, they don't have that excuse. Thankfully, the ship appears to be fully ready. I don't know if there are any doors that were like, mark, do not enter, but yes, yeah. And, but I also think they probably didn't face the same challenges and were able to kind of like, up level the ship a bit above what the Wish was because it's just not, it's not Covid when they're trying to build a ship. So that's, that's probably amazing. So talk us through the day. So how long did you get to tour the ship? Was it like fully guided or did you get some time to just kind of roam or.
[00:09:55] Speaker C: And did they Feed you? I have to know. Did they feed you?
[00:09:59] Speaker A: They did. They did. And we can definitely talk about the dining because the dining, I think, was one of my most favorite parts of this whole Treasure experience and what it will be like for guests. But, I mean, the day was pretty long.
I wish that they trusted us enough to let us roam around, but we're not quite there yet.
The day started at around 9 o'clock. We went in small groups and we toured different areas. It was actually very organized, which was really nice because we were able to accomplish a lot. And I. And then the day ended with we got to see the new Moana, the first act of their.
Their show, and tears. Tears.
[00:10:43] Speaker C: Oh, my God, Emily.
[00:10:45] Speaker A: I'm like, I'm so jealous. I'm thinking about it right now. I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it. It was beautiful. These actors are so ready for an audience tell. They were so enthusiastic. And so the day ended with that, which was the perfect ending at around 5 o'clock. So it was a pretty full day of just all things Treasure.
[00:11:07] Speaker C: Now, who. Who toured you around? Is it like crew from on the ship or are they folks from corporate? You know, obviously most of the people who are invited on are travel agents and media. And so, you know, it's hard to know who they're going to kind of have chaperone around the ship. I'm curious as to who they. Who they sent with the group of travel agents and media folks.
[00:11:30] Speaker A: Well, our supervisors were amazing, and it was Tommy and Ty and they work for Disney Destinations and they were so knowledgeable. I don't know if they stayed up all night, like reading everything or researching everything, but they were so knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions along the way. There were even moments where they said, you know what, we have a little bit of time. Let's go over here. And although it wasn't part of the plans, they kind of could see what we wanted to do and, you know, accommodated us in that way. As far as media, they were. They were separate. So they were like earlier than we were or in different part of the ship than we were at certain times. So I'm not sure who showed media around, but for trade, we were part of Disney Destinations and they were wonderful.
[00:12:16] Speaker C: Awesome. Should we start with the atrium? I feel like that's.
[00:12:20] Speaker B: We have. We actually have one burning question here in the chat that I want to know the answer to myself, because it's my one. I actually really liked the wish. Actually, before we get to this burning question, Tracy Wanted to know what point did you sail on the wish? Was it a maiden? A preview? What's your experience with the wish so she can appropriately calibrate?
[00:12:40] Speaker A: I actually, I did not do the maiden voyage. I let it have a little time to marinate before I did the wish.
And so it was definitely ready. And it's not like, it's not that I don't like the wish. The wish is fine. It's like it's fine. You know, it's, it's not my favorite.
[00:12:58] Speaker C: It's not your least favorite.
[00:12:59] Speaker B: It's fine. Everything's fine. It's all fine.
[00:13:04] Speaker A: But I think that when people board this ship, they're going to understand why this.
It's my new love. It's my new love.
[00:13:12] Speaker C: I love it. I love that.
[00:13:14] Speaker B: Okay. The burning question that I even want to know the answer to is, did they improve the storage in the state? Because if we were, I just want to go back. I always love it. Disney was always like, this is a purpose built ship for three night sailings. And so the storage.
[00:13:25] Speaker C: Four night, three night.
[00:13:26] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:13:27] Speaker B: And so now I'm like, okay, well now you've made a purpose built ship for seven night sailing. So did you implement storage?
[00:13:32] Speaker C: I'm going to guess they didn't, but I would love to hear.
[00:13:34] Speaker A: You know what? The beds looked a little bit like a little higher. We did ask our, our guides, you know, if it was a little higher to put more stuff underneath. They said they weren't sure about that answer. But I don't know, a couple of us thought that it may have looked a little bit. A little bit. But as far as additional storage closet wise, the closets were actually like pull out. So they weren't the sliding.
And I don't know if that makes any difference, but I had heard from.
[00:14:04] Speaker B: Someone who said that they may have added some more drawers in some of the staterooms. I don't know if that's true or not, but someone had relayed that having seen that.
[00:14:13] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, it could be possible.
I mean, we were very quick with room tours. We were very lucky. We got to see all the different types of rooms and they so nicely set up, set them up in daytime and nighttime form so we could see what it looked like having the bunks.
[00:14:30] Speaker C: Down, the beds open.
[00:14:31] Speaker A: Yeah, like absolutely. Which was really helpful.
But as far as having enough time to like rummage through everything now.
[00:14:40] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah.
With. So I guess then we'll start with staterooms because we've already asked a question about staterooms before we move to the grand hall, but any sort of standouts with the staterooms. As far as updates from the Wish, I mean, the configuration are all the same as the Wish. So I don't think we have a ton to talk about here. Obviously, theming is new, but would love to hear your questions.
[00:15:04] Speaker B: Emily, I'm actually going to bring up the library of photos you shared with me. So if there's anything in here you think that we should see as we talk about this, feel free to let me know and I will open it up.
[00:15:12] Speaker C: Oh, here. But they're here. Open up some of the estate room photos. Yeah.
[00:15:15] Speaker A: So a few things that I definitely want to touch upon are the themes that they went with for the different staterooms and, you know, hitting up, like, encanto, which is where you see that. The butterfly. And on the flooring, there's.
It's. I don't know, it's like butterflies and all lit up. And the Lion King for concierge. I mean, how. How.
[00:15:46] Speaker C: That's amazing. I love that.
[00:15:48] Speaker A: Oh, it's leaving me breathless.
[00:15:51] Speaker C: These are gorgeous.
[00:15:52] Speaker A: But the theming that they decided to go with with, you know, Encanto, Up, Luca and Lion King, et cetera, it just. It spoke to me. Aladdin. I mean, these are all things that were some of my, you know, old and new, favorite movies just all together. And I think that one of the things that they had said is that they really wanted the treasure to focus family and having adventures as a family. And I thought that the theming was absolutely spot on and perfect with the different things that they chose to highlight.
[00:16:34] Speaker C: I love that. I'm super excited to see. I forget. We figured out what theme our room is, and I honestly can't remember which one it is now. It's on the ninth floor and I can't remember.
[00:16:47] Speaker B: I can't remember either.
[00:16:48] Speaker C: But we were the. The only thing we. We know.
[00:16:50] Speaker B: Oh, no.
[00:16:51] Speaker C: You know what we were looking at for the Destiny, what it could be, because apparently there's some Baymax themed rooms on the Destiny, and we. Yeah, but apparently we're not in a Baymax theme room on the Destiny. But yeah, the. The Simba fish extender is just like that to me, is just.
[00:17:08] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:17:08] Speaker C: Chef's kiss. Like, I can't even.
[00:17:10] Speaker A: Yes. It was so thoughtful and so well done. And I think that thoughtful is a really big word for every time I saw something. I was like. That took a lot of thought. That was very clever. That is. You know, it just. That above and beyond. It wasn't just so simple Thrown together. Like, there's just little details all over the ship that are just. You can tell that those imagineers had so much fun just putting this all together.
The Lion King concierge area is.
[00:17:40] Speaker B: Is.
[00:17:41] Speaker A: It's so breathtaking and incredible, and Lion King is a really special movie for my family. So I'm not gonna lie. We came home and we may have upgraded one of our treasure sailings last year. We need to stay in Lion King.
[00:17:57] Speaker C: Oh, my God. I might have to. That might be something that I have to.
[00:18:01] Speaker B: Not for the maiden.
[00:18:01] Speaker C: No, not for the maiden. I mean. I don't mean for the maiden. I mean for our spring break sailing. I'm like, I don't know if there'll be anything available, but. Did you get to see the Tomorrow Tower Suite? I've seen some pictures of the Tomorrow Tower Suite. I thought that looked pretty incredible.
In particular, the Figment. This sort of pops of figment because it's themed for Epcot, for those who haven't seen. But it is. There's just some really cool little pops of figment. I was just looking at Instagram earlier today while all on the airplane, I.
[00:18:34] Speaker A: Saw a couple of it.
[00:18:36] Speaker C: Curious what you thought of that.
[00:18:39] Speaker A: That room was very impressive. Really incredible. Beautiful decor all throughout the room.
And just like you were saying, the figment statues. And he's kind of like laced throughout. And there's one that's upstairs. I think it's in the kids room. But I mean, the bunk beds look amazingly fun for a family.
But, yeah, I mean, it was breathtaking. I don't know who's going to stay there. They'll have to have a lot of moolah.
[00:19:10] Speaker B: But I saw someone ask. Yeah, I saw someone mention $55,000 a sale. That's sweet for me. Oh, my God, do I want 10 Disney cruises or.
[00:19:24] Speaker A: It's. It's beautiful. It'll be, you know, just a special treat for somebody. I'm sure not my family right now, but it was really nicely done.
[00:19:35] Speaker B: Let's. Let's go back for a second. I know we jumped into. I want to rewind back. I had this up for the Grand Hall. Just first impressions when you walked on the ship? I've seen different reactions to the Grand Hall. Most of it's been, it's gorgeous. Some of it's been, it feels too dark. Like, what did you. What did you think when you walked on board? I think this looks gorgeous. I don't know where people are getting that it's too dark because it actually looks fairly bright.
[00:19:56] Speaker A: So, yeah, yeah, I thought it was really bright, and I loved the bright, like, aqua colors. There's this beautiful. When you are looking at the. The stage area, there's this.
This mural or whatever you would call it, like tile Art of Raja, which is so.
I mean, I love that, but I love the coloring, the golds and the teal. It just very. It feels really, like, royal, but not too.
I don't know, not in, like, a way that is, like, too fancy for you. You know, it's like. Okay, that's just welcoming and it's like.
[00:20:35] Speaker C: Just beautiful jewel tones.
[00:20:37] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, I love it. And one thing I really did like was that they went in a different direction with the statue too, because we're used to, you know, our statues that are symbolizing the ship and just welcoming everybody. Being a character that's on the ground. And they went for something totally different. And they have Jasmine and Aladdin on a carpet and it's flying. And I thought that that was really neat to kind of go outside the box and do something different. And, you know, instead of having that glass slipper like they would on the Wish, they had the. The genie lamp, which was really cool and a very awesome photo op.
[00:21:12] Speaker C: I love that. Oh, I'm excited. I think we have a picture. I think it's in here. Brian. I think you just have to go back to the. Maybe the first picture.
[00:21:21] Speaker B: Yeah, well, yeah.
[00:21:22] Speaker C: Oh, it's just. Yeah, it's in the distance.
[00:21:24] Speaker B: I love the lamp, too. They shared some. Some, you know, of the art for the media and stuff of the lamp, and that just looks. That looks gorgeous.
[00:21:33] Speaker A: In the album, I don't think a.
[00:21:37] Speaker C: Close up of the lamp, but we could see it where the. We could see it in front of the statue. It's kind of at the end of the staircase for folks who were just. Who. When you just saw the picture up on the screen, I thought I'd put that. I actually really like. I really like the chandelier though, too, because I feel like the chandelier is very different than the Wish. Right. The Wish is like that Wishing star one. And so I'm curious now they have that stage there. Of course, we know on the Wish they do some kind of impromptu. They're impromptu to the guests. They're not necessarily impromptu to the cast. Right. But they do some sort of. Some. I forget what they call them, but basically theater performers will come out and do some stuff. I wonder, did they do any of those kinds of things for you all on board as either a welcome or as part of the tour?
[00:22:27] Speaker A: Yes. So they actually had the actors, they had a little area set up right where your mouse is, and they had lots of different props. And they were doing a reenactment of like, telling a story of something. It was a fairy tale of some sort and they were doing like a reenaction of it. And they just had people kind of like just crowding around and it was just really fun to watch. And the props were wonderful, too. I forget at this moment because there was so much going on, what story they were retelling. I want to say it was like Peter Pan or something, because like I said, it's all about adventure and family. So I think that was the reenaction.
[00:23:04] Speaker C: That they were doing that reminds me of in Disneyland.
Right. Sort of off the hub in Disneyland park. There is a theater where they do retellings of different, like, Disney stories, fairy tales, and it's done by just a couple of actors. And it usually ends up being kind of, you know, funny reenactment type of a thing. And so I wonder if they're sort of taking that page from the Parks and putting it on the ship, because there's not. They don't use that. That stage, I think enough on the wish. They do it for some good character meet and greets and they do that who's behind the curtain game show thing, but they don't use it quite enough. So I think that would be fun if they use it in that way.
[00:23:47] Speaker B: If Jessica's asking here, is there going to be a kiss goodnight type thing.
[00:23:50] Speaker C: On the Treasure like they do at 11, 10 and midnight?
[00:23:53] Speaker B: I got to believe there'll be something. I'm actually hoping it might be something a little different.
[00:23:56] Speaker A: There's going to be something, yeah. I think that definitely, especially if you look up at. That's the, you know, the. The overhang. Like, you can see that there's like. I think there's six things that are hanging down. And I think that that's supposed to be symbolic for something.
I'm not quite sure. I don't really remember.
[00:24:17] Speaker C: I'll have to maybe because she's the sixth ship.
[00:24:22] Speaker A: Perhaps. Perhaps.
[00:24:24] Speaker C: And the big hero six, as we like to call it.
[00:24:27] Speaker A: I think someone had mentioned something about the chandelier has to do with Abu, and I don't what that was. I apologize because there was just a lot of stuff going on.
But it does look very different from what we're used to. But I think that having those six little hanging, you know, lanterns or whatever they are, you know. Well, I could see something happening for sure. It's Disney. They're going to do something.
[00:24:53] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
[00:24:55] Speaker B: Where should we head next?
[00:24:56] Speaker C: I feel like we should just go to Skipper Society. That's next in her, right?
[00:25:00] Speaker B: There we go.
[00:25:00] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:25:02] Speaker B: Yeah. So what was that space like, Emily?
[00:25:04] Speaker A: So listen, I love the Bayou on the Wish.
I think that it's very creative with the fireflies up at the top, but I love Jungle Cruise. So this spoke to me and the decor, especially in those two side seating areas. They have lots of different letters and pictures and different decor. That's all around. But one thing that stuck out to me was there was this lamp that has parasol on it, which I thought was really cool. And they're made out of glass, like a stained glass.
I don't know what. Did I put that picture in there? Nope, nope. But we'll talk about all of those details.
[00:25:50] Speaker C: Just go through Brian. He's. He's. He's.
[00:25:52] Speaker B: Well, this is.
[00:25:53] Speaker C: Oh, this is the child.
[00:25:54] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:25:54] Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, and here's the. There's the close up of the statue.
[00:25:57] Speaker C: Ah, there's a close up.
[00:25:57] Speaker B: There's a close up of the statue from the.
[00:26:00] Speaker C: Sorry, guys. We're working with one laptop screen here. Brian Norman normally has this little laptop screen and this mission control, like, two screens behind it so we can like blow up things so that you can see them and then we don't. We can.
[00:26:14] Speaker B: Sorry, I have to go back to this one. This is a gorgeous shot of the atrium looking down from the third floor.
[00:26:19] Speaker A: It was so hard.
Oh, man, I'm sorry.
[00:26:23] Speaker C: Yeah, well, no, no, it's fine. We have like these tiny little thumbnails that we're trying to look at that look exactly like they do for everybody else. And so we're just trying to find where the difference is.
[00:26:33] Speaker A: All good. I'm trying to see if I can tell where it is.
I thought I put it in there, but it's. The decor in that space is wonderful and it's lit up. And I mean, it looks, you know, it's had the similar setup to the bayou, but I think that the theming is way more fun. And the just. I don't know, it's got that, like, funny humor associated with the things that are hung up all around the seating area. And the menus look really exciting.
And of course, everyone's outfits look amazing, too.
[00:27:12] Speaker C: Ooh, yeah. So are they wearing like. Oh, that's probably it. There we go. Is that. No. Oh, no, that's a Jiminy. That's the Jade Cricket Cafe.
[00:27:20] Speaker A: Yeah, Jade Cricket Cafe.
[00:27:22] Speaker C: Gorgeous.
[00:27:23] Speaker A: And on the side of that, you know, table right there, they have a little Jade cricket that's on the side.
[00:27:30] Speaker C: So it's so cute.
[00:27:33] Speaker A: But I love that, these spaces that. And that hey, hey Cafe, which is the other one that is for, you know, coffees and things like that.
[00:27:42] Speaker B: Oh, here's the.
[00:27:44] Speaker A: Yes, there's the parrots. How cool is that?
[00:27:48] Speaker C: Oh, my goodness. So this is in Skipper. So Skipper society is in the same place that the bayou is in. Right. So same sort of layout is the bar. The bar, I assume, is in the same sort of place. And yes, they have those booths and everything. Okay.
[00:28:01] Speaker A: Yeah, same setups, just a different vibe. And they also have, like I was saying, behind this is like that seating area where it's got that like circular type of table, half circle table. All this artwork and decor and like fake letters and pictures. Kind of like how the Jungle Cruise does along the way when you're going through the queue. And you know, of course we didn't have enough time to like dig in and read every single thing, but I cannot wait till we get to do that. This is an example of one of the seating areas and I would imagine that they're going to have a lot of different programming that happens in this space because there is a stage to the left hand side which has beautiful carvings of different animals all around as well.

[00:29:49] Speaker C: Now, I have to ask, do the cast members tell punny jokes? It's very important to me.
[00:29:57] Speaker A: I really hope so. I really hope so.
[00:30:01] Speaker C: Okay, so not yet.
[00:30:03] Speaker A: I wouldn't be surprised if they do, or at least have them try to, because the way that they've done all the other bars on the ship, it's clearly they're going for what that is. So, like, Haunted Mansion went all the way. Like, even the person that's standing out front is very serious. They're dressed like you.
[00:30:29] Speaker C: You.
[00:30:29] Speaker A: They look like they're the people that work. The cast members that work on the attraction. So I think they're going all in on the type of vibe for these places.
[00:30:39] Speaker C: So this is the stage that you're talking about in. So this is like the stage in the Bayou where they set up sort of a band often, or if they're doing trivia, they' do the person who's leading trivial but sort of stand on that sort of stage area. That looks so cool. The carvings you mentioned of all the animals, I love. The Jungle Cruise is one of my favorite rides. So I love that they did a theming. You know, a bar theming around that.
[00:31:07] Speaker B: And here's the. This is. This has got a. This is the tower suite for folks. I'll play that through so folks can see if you are listening to this after the fact, you should definitely head over to our YouTube channel and take a look because there's some great video that Emily shot and some. Some lovely photos that we're showing.
[00:31:21] Speaker C: Oh, Emily.
[00:31:23] Speaker B: I love.
[00:31:25] Speaker C: Oh, gorgeous.
[00:31:26] Speaker B: I love this. I love to see the actual reality. No more artist renderings. Here we are in real space. We talked earlier about the.
[00:31:34] Speaker C: Yeah. Oh, here's the lamp.
[00:31:35] Speaker B: We talked earlier about the lamp. Here's the lamp that.
[00:31:38] Speaker A: This.
[00:31:38] Speaker B: This is like the slipper on the wish in the atrium. So there's the lamp. That's a really cool feature that they added. I gotta go to Emily. I saw you had it up here. I mean, there's two other spaces that I think people want to hear about, but I'm going to start with probably the one I'm most excited about, which is the Periscope Pub.
How'd they do, Emily? Because I was a little concerned. Like, it's a cool concept, but you have to execute. So what did you think?
[00:32:03] Speaker A: Okay, so do you see up above at the top where there's those, I don't know, like, windows, the blue panels?
[00:32:12] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:32:12] Speaker A: Yes. So if you look up, you can see fish like, just swimming by. It is so immersive. And I am celebrating that they didn't go with an Irish pub there because I think that we're over it. We're over it.
[00:32:31] Speaker C: Yeah. We're a little over an Irish pub. It's enough.
[00:32:34] Speaker A: So over it. So this, to me, was. Is so exciting. And is that 20,000 leagues under the Sea type of theme. Even the beer taps, I mean, they look just incredible with the tentacles.
[00:32:51] Speaker C: That is so cool. I love that. And I'm not a big pub person, and I'm not a big 10,000 leagues under the Sea person either, but those handles are awesome.
[00:33:01] Speaker B: So I gotta ask one question. There's a periscope right here. Does it work? Does it do anything?
[00:33:08] Speaker C: She nodded.
[00:33:09] Speaker A: I don't know what.
[00:33:11] Speaker C: Oh, okay.
Okay. I'm not sure.
Okay. And maybe the first place I'm going on board. Emily, you and I, we're gonna meet there. Actually. No, we want to get a drink at Haunted Mansion.
[00:33:22] Speaker A: Yes, we need to get a drink at all the places, actually.
[00:33:26] Speaker C: So, yes, we'll just bar hop. Yes, we'll just bar hop. I won't have my kiddo or Brian with me, so we'll be all good.
[00:33:32] Speaker B: Well, let's go to Haunted Mansion, because here it is.
[00:33:34] Speaker C: Yeah, Listen, this is what everybody's watch. Watching for. We have. We have, you know, a lot of people watching right now live. And you know that they're watching for this really, let's be honest. So you said before you start this video, Brian, you said, emily, they've got somebody standing at the door in like, Haunted Mansion costume. Right. And what are they doing?
[00:33:54] Speaker A: They're, you know, just directing you in. I have to imagine that there is going to be much like when hyperspace opened on the Wish, that there's a little bit of a wait to get in there. It's. There's not a ton of room, obviously, because it's the same kind of space that they had at hyperspace, but it is very interactive bar. It actually kind of gives me, like, Trader Sam vibes in the way that, like, there's a lot going on.
As you can see, we've got the madam there. She is doing her thing. So on the hyper. In hyperspace, they have, you know, every. I'm not sure how. What the timing is, maybe 10 minutes or so, or it could be less than that. They have a change of scene and you go.
And so they've got kind of a similar thing going on where she'll come up, she'll start talking, which I Think was really cool. And if you look around, it's like you're on the ride. I mean, this is all the same kind of decorations and decor that you wallpaper, right? Yes. And even they have that chair that's on the right as well in there.
The thing that really stood out to me were the drink selections were very creative. They had the one similar to what they have in hyperspace, where they light it up with the blue light, and it has something on the drink so you can see, like, some kind of something there for this. It was just the Haunted Mansion logo, but I'm sure that they have other things like they do at hyperspace. The thing that stuck out to me here, though, is the imagineers took this next level, and they actually have a fish tank. Tank which has fish that are skeletons that are swimming around.
It was mind blowing. There was one of the imagineers that developed it was there, and I said, how are you? Is this real? How are you doing this? And I thought for. I thought he was gonna, like, start talking to me and tell me. And he goes, it's Disney magic. I'm like, yeah, I know you're not gonna tell me, but I think it's worth a shot. I'm just. My mind is blown. It was incredible.
[00:36:02] Speaker B: What is the. So the mirror behind it, does it do anything? Did they show you anything other than Madame Leota kind of floating around? I was worried if they're, like the hitchhiking ghosts make an appearance or anything.
[00:36:10] Speaker A: Like that, they could. It's very possible we were in there for a limited time because they had to get all the ghosts in there.
[00:36:16] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:36:16] Speaker A: So I imagine that there will be things that happen besides her, because that would be kind of boring if ever. You know, it just keeps kind of going on in a loop. But, yep, she popped up. She starts talking. It was pretty amazing. And like I said, the drink selections were great. The decor was incredible.
It felt like I was on that ride.
[00:36:40] Speaker B: I saw a video earlier today of a hidden drink menu where you have to arrange words on the page, and then it pops up a special drink menu, and it's a drink for two that comes out in.
It's not a candelabra, but that kind of has two arms and two drinks on it, and it's like a candle thing. And, yeah, it looked really stunning too.
[00:36:59] Speaker C: So we've got this great question from Tom, and I think I know the answer to this, but I want to know if you heard any differently, Emily, which is he's asking any discussion about requiring Reservations for Haunted Mansions similar to how it started for hyperspace. I have heard, and I don't know if what they told you was similar, but I have heard that it's not going to be reservations based or at least not at the start, unless they feel they have to impose like a virtual queue reservation type system.
But I have heard they are going to be limiting the amount of time that you're in there, which is what they did with hyperspace. They did both. You both had to have a reservation and then you were limited for a certain amount of time. I've heard for at least with the Maiden, that's what they're going to be doing for Haunted Mansion. I don't know if they told you guys the same.
[00:37:47] Speaker A: They didn't tell us how they were going to do it, but they would be crazy to not do a system like that because this is going to be way more popular than hyperspace was, I think, in my opinion. Yeah, this just speaks to everyone. Everyone loves Haunted Mansion. It's one of the Disney's most popular attractions. They have movies about Haunted Mansion. They have, you know, dresses and fabrics and all these things. Haunted Mansion, everything.
I would assume that they're probably going to do something similar to what they did in the beginning for hyperspace.
[00:38:25] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:38:25] Speaker B: I am glad to see that they did not do a kyber crystal type of drink in this space because I just thought that was such a. Such an odd thing to put on board. But yeah. All right, so Taryn's saying I saw another video where they were dancing couples in the mirror, some of the ball. That would make a ton of sense. And they're missing a sure bet if they don't have the hitchhiking ghost.
[00:38:44] Speaker C: They do have the hitchhiking ghosts, I believe. I think I saw a picture or video or something. Also. Some of the other pictures are also like moving pictures. Right. And so there's, there's a lot of different, like hidden gems in. From what I've seen from just pictures and videos on social media that are. That are looking incredible. We got to go that far.
[00:39:06] Speaker A: And this is the last thing that I'll say about it. I'm just excited about it.
[00:39:10] Speaker B: No, everyone's excited about it.
[00:39:12] Speaker A: Right. But you know, speaking to someone saw, you know, a video of people dancing and I saw Madame Leota and you know, we're all seeing different things. Things. That is why this is so cool. Because you're actually going to have different experiences every time that you get to go. So it's not going to be the same old, same old. It's going to be different, and I love that about this ship. I just feel like it's going to be fresh and new and exciting, and I just can't wait.
Yeah.
[00:39:41] Speaker C: And I think what you. What the focus will be will be different based on where you're sitting in the. In the bar, probably as well.
[00:39:47] Speaker B: Yeah. I think. I think we have to. I think we have to talk about probably the most exciting restaurant condition.
[00:39:53] Speaker C: Well, I don't think this is the restaurant. This is the.
[00:39:56] Speaker B: Oh, this is. This is not Plaza de Coco.
[00:39:59] Speaker A: So this is. Yes. So this is Plaza de Coco. When you come down, you are. You're in his family's shoe, you know, store, and you're seeing all these shoes all along the hallway and all these different pictures and letters and things like that. And then when you walk in, there's this right there. As soon as I saw this, I just started tearing up and crying because.
[00:40:29] Speaker C: Yeah, it's a beautiful friend.
[00:40:32] Speaker A: This movie is so special. And it again goes back to the treasure. Focusing on having adventures with your family and family.
And this restaurant is going to blow people away. It is beautifully decorated. And the performance that they're going to be doing with real mariachi is just.
There's no words. There's no words for this stuff because you just have to go and experience it. It's not special.
[00:41:05] Speaker B: Did they let you sample. Did they let you sample any of the food from the restaurant? And if so, how was it?
[00:41:11] Speaker A: So we didn't get to sample the food from Plaza de Coco, but we did. At Worlds of Marvel, we were able to sample from all the different restaurants. They had, like, a tasting menu. So for appetizers, they gave us a sample from, you know, some of the restaurants, and then an entree you could pick from. There was, like four options from some of the different restaurants. And then desserts there were options from.
You just got a bunch of desserts, and they were from the different restaurants. So I feel like there was, I want to say maybe Trace Lake J's or something from Plaza de Coco in the sense I have a picture of the menu that I did take, so I will let you know.
But we were able to see a performance when we were at Plaza de Coco. So we went in, we sat down, and they came out with one of the performances that they were going to start doing, and they have their in. And I don't know the correct verbiage for this, but they were driving dressed as skeletons, and they also had just a mariachi band Kind of going around and playing music how like they do with the Frozen, where they have the people that are playing in the band kind of around everybody.
[00:42:27] Speaker C: Right.
[00:42:28] Speaker A: They had something similar like that. And the costuming was phenomenal as well.
[00:42:33] Speaker B: Here's Worlds of Marvel, it looks like.
[00:42:36] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[00:42:39] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:42:39] Speaker C: So, yeah, tell us that.
[00:42:41] Speaker A: Excited for. But I did get excited for. For it because they showed us what the second night dining would be like because we've all already experienced the first one. I was a little bummed that they. They did this again, but after I saw the second show, they won me over. They won me over. And I like that it focused on a different kind of family, which is the family between Rocket and Groot and how they're really tight and Groot is trying to do something sweet for Rocket, and Rocket doesn't realize it until the end. And it's just very sweet how it all kind of comes together. What I really loved about it is reminded me of the Guardians ride because they were playing a lot of our favorite songs from the Guardians ride and from that kind of book of songs that they use.
[00:43:36] Speaker C: Oh, I love that. I mean.
[00:43:38] Speaker A: And I was really excited about that.
[00:43:40] Speaker C: I mean, two of the two, two best rides between Disneyland and Disney World, right? Guardians of the Galaxy, Mission Breakout, Guardians of the Galaxy, Cosmic Rewind. And part of why they're so great is the soundtrack, right? Like, the music that just pumps you up and accompanies the ride is fantastic. And so to sort of replicate that experience in a dining experience is just, again, mind blowing.
[00:44:06] Speaker B: So some folks are asking Emily about sort of stage views for the different restaurants. I don't know if the setups are any different from what we've seen seen on the Wish, where you get some tables that have amazing views and some tables that have less than amazing views. I don't know that they can really solve for that in the ship layout at this point.
[00:44:25] Speaker A: It's about the same. I did feel like in World of Marvel they had more spots for screens, so it seems like there were more of them around so people could enjoy that more. But why that was important is because this second showing is extremely interactive. So it's kind of like you're playing trivia, so you're using that little reactor thingy that's on your table, and you're quantum core. Quantum core. See, I'm just quantum core. You're using it to answer trivia questions.
[00:44:58] Speaker C: Oh, I love that. That sounds really fun. Interactive, like being a part of just a trivia game in the restaurant. Okay, well, we need to talk.
[00:45:08] Speaker B: We got one other question which is did the restaurants feel anything less packed in terms of the seating, the spacing? Because on the wish that's been a.
[00:45:15] Speaker C: Little bit of an issue, particularly in Arendelle, I think. Yeah, I don't think it's too bad in Worlds of Marvel. I think Arendelle is the one that has the worst issues with like sort of you're kind of on top of your table next to you. And also sightline. It's another amazing or bad.
[00:45:32] Speaker B: It's another one there where I don't know how they would ever solve that. Like you've got the same number of people, they've all got to go to rotational dining. So I'm assuming it's be about the same. Yeah, it's.
[00:45:40] Speaker A: It's about the same. I don't know how they would solve it except for opening another restaurant and trying to spread people out a little bit more. I mean, that's really the only way that they could solve that. Because the way that the room is designed, it's stage is right in the middle. So there's only certain places that you can go. And they're really trying to cram everybody in there.
[00:45:57] Speaker C: Yeah. Now, were you able to go to the Scat Cat lounge? We did have a question. I don't remember who it was that asked, but they had asked about what their not. You were able to go to the Scat Cat.
I'm not sure if we have any pictures of it in the array of pictures. Oh, Brian's taking us your video through the into the atrium or this is your video. Probably. It might be even coming on board actually here.
[00:46:17] Speaker A: I think that was when I was just coming on board. I wasn't sure what I was going to see, so I was trying to. As you can see, apparently a film crew.
[00:46:26] Speaker C: Yeah.
But yeah. Curious as to what you thought of Scat Cat, which is the Aristocracy Cats themed lounge. Another, you know, of course, bar space on board.
[00:46:38] Speaker A: So let me tell you some neat things about that one. So nightingales. Well, like nightingales just fine. I like the creative drinks there.
The vibe is a little kind of, I don't know, quiet. It's not like an exciting spot to be. It's not that I don't like it. It's just quiet. And Scat Cat is clearly going to be very different when you walk in.
Well, when we walked in, there was someone playing the pian piano and on the piano there's little cat paw prints that are across the top of the piano and in the drinks, there's some of these, like, I don't know if you can. You can take them home. But they were, like, designed ice cubes or some type of decor that is like a cat right at the bottom. After you finish your drink, you can see that there's.
[00:47:29] Speaker C: It's a glass.
[00:47:31] Speaker B: I have one of those glasses.
[00:47:32] Speaker A: It is hand painted. Oh, you have one?
[00:47:34] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:47:36] Speaker C: He ordered one off interwebs.
[00:47:39] Speaker A: Yes. And there were ones of ice, too, like, shaped like cats, I think. And also what I really liked about this bar is that there's an inside and there's also an outside. So it's channeling our fantasy and dream where they do have bars that are kind of just like, on the outskirts, like right where the atrium is. So it's outside bar. Right. Kind of where you would drop off for the kids club, just in the. In the corner.
So it was nice to kind of have, like, it's the same bar, but, like, two different locations for it. So if you want to be out in the open or if you want to be inside the bar.
[00:48:20] Speaker C: Oh, did we lose Emily?
Uh. Oh, I think we lost Emily.
Do you all see us? Are we still there?
Technical difficulties.
[00:48:40] Speaker B: Hold on. I'm gonna have to.
[00:48:42] Speaker C: Oh, we're still on. Okay, so we've lost. We lost Emily. Well, let's look at some of her other pictures and hope that she ends up back on in just a minute. But let's look at Sarabi. Let's look at the pictures of Sarabi. Brian. Brian.
[00:48:58] Speaker B: Yes. Let me pull those up.
Where were they? Where was up?
[00:49:06] Speaker C: Yes, right here. So I had heard good things about this. So this is the new space instead of. Instead of Luna. So it's, I think, the same layout, but I've heard the decor is really. Is really quite cool.
It looks like. Yeah. Cause it's gonna be more Lion King themed.
[00:49:33] Speaker B: We're waiting for. So we're gonna give Emily a second to see if she rejoins. And as she does, I just kind of wanted to go back through some of the comments and reactions from the audience out there who's been watching. And so let's see here.
[00:49:45] Speaker C: I think we made some people cry at the beginning. We didn't mean to make people cry at the beginning, by the way of the show. If you're joining us live, you know what we're talking about.
All right, well, we've got Vanessa and Andrew, who are excited for. More excited for the treasure than for the wish. We've got ct, who's excited for butterfly fish extenders and Simba fish extenders and says that Golden Navy is a classy, classy combo.
Let's see what else.
The lamp. People are loving the lamp. You're going too fast, Brian, for me to read.
[00:50:22] Speaker B: CT was agreeing that the decor looks more deliberate. I know Emily had brought that up in the beginning.
[00:50:26] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[00:50:27] Speaker B: Very deliberate.
Oh, here we go, Emily.
[00:50:30] Speaker C: Here's Emily coming back.
[00:50:31] Speaker B: Emily's back.
[00:50:32] Speaker C: Yay. Emily's back. And unfrozen.
[00:50:35] Speaker A: Okay. Apparently, Scott just ran downstairs, and he was like, the router's out. So sorry about that.
[00:50:43] Speaker C: Well, you went frozen. We didn't know if that meant we went frozen or if you were. So we're, like, asking people, are we still alive? Can you still see?
[00:50:50] Speaker A: I'm like, what's happening? Okay. Sorry about that.
[00:50:54] Speaker C: Nice.
[00:50:55] Speaker B: Good, because Tracy was going to ask us to do karaoke.
[00:51:00] Speaker C: Impromptu karaoke. I love it. She knows. Tracy knows. I will do it. There you go.
[00:51:07] Speaker B: So, Emily, now that you're back, let me ask you just a couple more questions here. So, on Sarabi, I know there was a lot of sort of, you know, it's just, you know, new paint on the same ship. How did it feel to you in Sarabi? And maybe kind of a broader question, which is, did you notice anything as you were touring the ship that, you know, looked different than the Wish? Not in terms of the decor, but. But like a space that they had done something to that you're like, huh, they really improved things.
[00:51:33] Speaker C: Well, Scat Cat, I think, is a perfect example of that. Right.
[00:51:36] Speaker B: Oh, and I actually. I gotta go back to Scatcat for a second. I saw someone earlier today, said something like, that drink with the clarified liquor costs, like, $130. Did you see the price tag for that drink in Scat Cat?
[00:51:50] Speaker A: I probably. I think it was $130 for one of the drinks. And that's probably the one they were saying that. I believe that they clarified it. And it has taken all the color out of the milk or something that's in there. I don't know. But yes, it's an expensive drink.
[00:52:09] Speaker B: Yeah. They use these milk and lemon juice to clarify.
[00:52:12] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
Not. Not the drink for me. No.
As far as things that are totally total, totally different, I mean, not so much that was, you know, totally. I guess not so much that you're like, what? Wow. The pool outside was set up a little bit different. Was. Which was one thing that I did notice. And then that outside bar, I'm trying to rack my brain to think of if there was Anything else that I was kind of going through and being like, whoa, that's different.
I mean, it's in the same class of ships, so we have to expect that a lot of it will be similar.
[00:52:51] Speaker C: But.
[00:52:51] Speaker A: But yes. So a little different there. And I think this is different.
[00:52:55] Speaker C: This is a big. Yeah, yeah. This is not the way it is on the Wish. Right.
[00:53:00] Speaker A: And they still have a few spots on the side like they do, but it's not so separate because I feel like on the Wish all of the pools are just so separate. But they have this spot now that's in front of that pool area where they were saying that they really wanted people to be able to hang out there to. If they wanted to watch a show, if they wanted to watch the fireworks, if they wanted to just kind of be there and have it be more of like a balcony type of situation where it's not so crammed and the pools aren't so apart from everything.
[00:53:35] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. Because right there is normally where you've got the Donald pool and the Goofy pool and so on the Wish. So you don't. Yeah. I mean you still have some side pools, but yeah, this is a little bit.
[00:53:48] Speaker B: You know what they're actually, what they're missing are those waterfall pools.
[00:53:51] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, that's what it is.
[00:53:52] Speaker B: The cooling pools where you would sit the water just run down your back.
[00:53:56] Speaker C: Yeah, the sort of waiting ones. Yeah. Whereas they have.
[00:53:59] Speaker B: And these are bigger than the ones that they had the pools and they had on the Wish.
[00:54:02] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Interesting.
[00:54:03] Speaker B: Actually those are the. Those are the waterfalls.
[00:54:06] Speaker A: Yeah, they do have the waterfall, but there's. Where I'm taking that video is it's like a. It's not like a balcony, but it's a more spread out area that you can actually walk up to and there's more space up there. And they were saying that they really felt like they needed. Needed to put more space there for people to watch things and stand around and when they see the fireworks and just place just for people to go.
[00:54:33] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:54:33] Speaker A: But I mean the whole area is the same. There's nothing really, you know, exciting or different there.
But this was, this was really nice to see. I felt like it felt really wide open.
[00:54:46] Speaker C: Yeah. Now we did have a question about Hooks Barbary and Untangled Salon. And I just want to answer that question to say, yes, they are the same as on the Wish. They are not. I mean, I don't know if they did any updates that you would have noticed, Emily, but I know they're the same Theming as what they are on the Wish.
[00:55:01] Speaker B: So I want to put this question up about whether we think the Treasure is going to impact the Wish pricing. I think it's, I mean, I think it's two totally different. It's three and four night sailings on the Wish as opposed to seven night sailings on the Treasure. I, I don't know that you'll see some massive immediate impact here. I think more impact would come after the Destiny comes out or even more likely as more ships come into the fleet. You've got a huge amount of inventory coming online that, you know, Disney's got to figure out where the price point is to fill all that inventory.
[00:55:28] Speaker C: I also think that for very new cruisers, the Wish is part of my phrasing. The Wish is the gateway drug for brand new cruisers, right? Because they haven't had like they might not want to splurge on a seven night sailing or even a five night sailing to go on one of the older ships. And they decide, oh, I'm going to go on the brand new ship but I'm going to go only for three or four nights. And so you know, that price point, even though it's more expensive per night overall, the big, the price tag doesn't look quite as big. And so I think to me that's like people will, you know, if they want to dip their toe or if they're really into princesses, then they want to go on the Wish and then they may end up, you know, deciding to check out one at one of the other ships.
[00:56:12] Speaker A: And I don't, but yeah, I don't, I mean demand is, I don't know if Disney thought about it like this, but I could see a scenario where, you know, they have the three ships that are in this wish class. They start off with the, you know, three and a four night sailing and then instead of going to a five night, they go to right the end of the, the end of the line with a week long cruise so that people aren't going to be going and canceling and moving things and then they're going to come out with the one that's in between so they don't have all of that movement and shuffling because they're so similar. This is a totally different type of cruise that you would go on as compared to a short cruise. You really kind of need to know that you like cruising to really do a week long cruise. And I think that if you like a ship like this that we're showing you, starting off with the Wish is A really great place to start because it's new, it's fun, it's all updated. It's about the same, just different theming. And if you like that book a placeholder and then you can get it for 10% off.
[00:57:17] Speaker B: There you go.
[00:57:18] Speaker C: Totally, absolutely. Spoken like someone who sells Disney cruises.
Perfect.
[00:57:29] Speaker B: The first step is admitting you have a problem.
[00:57:32] Speaker C: This is what this group, this is what this community is about. It's actually a support group for people addicted to Disney vacation.
[00:57:39] Speaker B: No, it's a support group filled with enigmas.
[00:57:41] Speaker C: Exactly. Yeah. We don't treat. We don't treat the addiction. We actually fuel the addiction. You're welcome. You're welcome, Disney.
[00:57:48] Speaker B: Emily, was there anything that caught your attention Was there anything that caught your attention on the ship that we haven't talked about that you wanted to be sure to share with everybody?
[00:57:58] Speaker A: I guess just that I am very excited that my spirit animal, Judy Hopps, is present on the ship in Jumbo suites. Because she is my spirit animal. I am convinced I'm the only person in my Disney experience that has that as their character. I think I might be the only one. I don't know. But really, that was a really neat place. One thing that was really cool, that spot is off to the side. And I didn't share this as one of the pictures, but they have the little lemmings and they're licking their red popsicles from their little popsicles. And yeah, it, it's so cute. And they have a little entrance of their own. How they get into the jumbo suit. It's very, very creative.
[00:58:45] Speaker C: Oh my God, I can't wait for this. Like, we're not big on like any of the sweet shops on any of the ships. Like we don't generally go and buy ice cream or the treats there. But we are huge Zootopia fans and we both love Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps. And so yeah, this is a place we definitely want to check out and take some pictures in and whatnot.
[00:59:07] Speaker B: This is a great question, Emily. How long did you get to spend on board? Was this like a world wind, like two hour tour or like how long was this?
[00:59:16] Speaker A: It was pretty long. We were on the ship from nine in the morning until about five o'clock at night. So it was a while. Except that there was so much to do that it was really kind of. Okay, let's look at this. Okay, Just shuffle, shuffle, shuffle. Okay. To the next place, right? And then of course they fed us. So that did take some time as well. And we saw the first act of moving Moana.
[00:59:40] Speaker C: Right, right. Which the first act of Moana is probably about a half hour since the show's got to be between an hour, an hour and 15 minutes long. So, yeah, so at least a half hour to do. And of course they're, you know, they're, they're still in there technically. They're still at the end of their, like, rehearsals. So, I mean, this is, like you said, probably the first time they're doing it for a complete new audience and not for cast or family of cast members or something or something like that. What, what would you say about overall? Did you know we aren't going to obviously do a deep dive into the food? I know that some of it is the same. Obviously. Marvel Night one is the same as Marvel Night on the or one of the nights of Marvel is the same. One of the nights of 1923 should be the same. We've seen some menus out there now at this point, but yeah. What would you say about the food overall? Were you, were you happy? Surprised? Any. Anything in particular? Particular?
[01:00:39] Speaker A: Yeah, I thought that the food was great. I mean, it's hard to determine because they were giving us little samplings of some of the different restaurants, but I mean, there was no alarm. People weren't like, oh, this is awful.
It was good.
[01:00:57] Speaker C: Awesome. Awesome. Well, before we close out the show, Emily, first we've got to say thank you so much for coming on. We know you've had a whirlwind day yesterday driving from, from Boston area to New York and back, which, you guys, that's a four hour drive each way. So she had a really, really long day and agreed to stay up to talk to us, you know, tonight. But, Emily, tell people where they can find you on social media to follow along on your adventures. But also if they want to reach out and book something with you.
[01:01:28] Speaker A: Sure.
I think the best place to find me is wedo Disney. Right. On Instagram. And I come from wedo Travel. Right. Which is our travel agency. But yeah, I mean, I'm. I'm a mom of two wonderful kiddos, married my college sweetheart and now we have a severe cruise addiction. So.
[01:01:52] Speaker C: Yeah, the only cure. More cruising, Emily. More cruising.
[01:01:56] Speaker A: That's the only way to feel better is just by cruising.
[01:01:59] Speaker C: More.
[01:01:59] Speaker A: More. So, you know, you can follow along on our adventures together. We love to travel and spend time as a family, so that is where you can find us.
[01:02:10] Speaker C: Awesome. Well, Emily, I'm going to be sure to buy you a drink on board the Disney Treasure. Two drinks, maybe two Drinks. One from me too, Brian one. One from me. Maybe one in Haunted Mansion parlor and one in honor of Brian at.
Oh my God, I can't think of the Periscope Pub. I was like what is that 10,000 leagues under the Sea thing called? Absolutely.
[01:02:32] Speaker A: Print out a picture of your face and we'll just bring it all around.
[01:02:36] Speaker C: We'll just carry it around with me.
[01:02:38] Speaker B: We're going to cut out made and.
[01:02:39] Speaker C: She just have to haul me around.
Listen, when I tell, I gotta tell people. I don't think I've told anyone yet on the show. On December 12, I am going to be on board the Disney Treasure for a preview sailing. Emily's gonna be on board as well. So we are gonna get to meet up in person. We have met in person on the Magic but we're gonna meet up in person again. I'm gonna be sailing with Karen Shelton from my path unwinding travel and so I'm very lucky she invited me to be a guest with her on the Disney Treasure. So I'll get to see a three night preview cruise. I'll take lots of pictures and all of that for our listeners and watchers on YouTube. Be sure to like and subscribe, of course on YouTube. We will not be back on Monday.
[01:03:24] Speaker B: Let me give, let me give the schedule. We will not be here Monday. It's Thanksgiving week and we are traveling and so we did not plan a live show for Monday. We are hoping, we are hoping to be back on Monday, December 2nd at a regular time, 5:30pm Pacific, 8:30pm Eastern. We have a guest who is sailing on a week long preview cruise on the track and we are just trying to get final permission from Disney PR to allow her to come on and talk to us and share the experience sailing on the cruise line or on the Treasure for a week. We don't get that clearance. We will not be back on December 2nd. But we're hoping to get that clearance from them and have her on to talk about her experience on board.
[01:04:02] Speaker C: Because these week long previews that are, that are starting basically as soon as the ship goes back to Florida are cast and cast family members. And so they have different restrictions of course than when travel agents or media get invited on. And so we're waiting for that permission. If we get that permission, we will be live in not this coming Monday, but the following Monday. As Brian said, December 2nd.
[01:04:23] Speaker B: But fret not because even if she can't make it, we've got multiple people who are on various preview sailings are going to be coming on. We have a fast and furious release schedule before we get to December 18th when we will be leaving ourselves for Orlando to spend some just two days at the park. So with some special things coming there that we'll share later and then we will be on the Treasure ourselves. So lots more to come. Emily, thank you so so much for spending some time with us this evening, sharing your audience.
[01:04:50] Speaker A: Thank you guys for having me again.
[01:04:53] Speaker B: You're welcome anytime, anytime. If that. We'll just say everyone out there, good night and we can't wait to talk.
[01:04:58] Speaker C: More about the Treasure and Happy Thanksgiving and don't forget to donate to Tunnels to Towers. All right, take care.
[01:05:04] Speaker B: See you later.
